Honestly, I used my sister's and aunt's S7 (and S7 Edge) and I was surprised they didn't lag at all and they were quite fast, but as he said, for someone used to vanilla Android, you'll see a difference
I reduce the animation times and use Nova Launcher. I don't experience any lag. Even with the stock launcher and reduced animation it was good. I find that the lag excuse is unfounded now when comparing to iPhone because the lack of comparable features that Note 7 and Android adds. It's just a better device for me personally. The features of the pen alone are priceless.

Thanks so much for your in depth review. I've watched your reviews of the Note 4 & 5 as well. You are super informative with useful detailed information. The feature that is of must interest to me is the water resistance of the Note7. My wife and I kayak and we have to be very selective and careful when taking pictures on the water. The Note7 would allow complete freedom, even in the roughest white water that we run. We've been caught out in the middle of a large lake with huge waves and the first items to be stowed are our phones which we use as our cameras. I can tell that you put a tremendous amount of effort into these productions. Thank you!

You can get the Samsung Galaxy Note FE(Fan Edition) if you like the Note 7 design its basically a Note 7 with a 3200 mAh battery(lower battery size) that doesn't explode
