Wanted to give my comments on this since I just installed this system! The one I ordered this week came with a cable for the backup cam, so no splicing needed. It says what to do on the print out. We went with the black version and it looks great. The video definitely helps, taking the vents out was a pain but all went well. Took less than two hours and would’ve been faster if I knew where all of the clips for the vents were and look at the print out for the back up cam. Thanks for the video!
in the video he only programmed the volume down control from the steering wheel. Is that all you have to do to get all the controls from the steering wheel to work? Or would you have to program all of the controls from the steering wheel?
Have JBL System just like your went with Black instead of Silver looks Awesome and purchased 3yr warranty from Amazon so if it fails I'm covered. Have issues programing steering wheel controls?
I installed this unit in my 2015 limited and it sounds terrible. My sub isn’t hitting and the speakers sound grainy compared to the factory. Any ideas?
At time 6:26, you wouldnt by any chance have a way to find out what that little plastic piece part number is ? Toyota cant figure it out, at the dealerships. Mine is missing. I need one..
Would you have instructions on how to remove the vents from the old unit? I can not find any videos or information on it. Every head unit swap skips that part of transferring the vents. I do not want to break anything so anything you have would be helpful and appreciated.
I can’t seem to connect the Dasaita 10.25” on to my 2017 4runner limited , some of the harness connections don’t seem to match Can u please help recommend a professional to knock this off , near Dallas Fort-worth area tx
Any updates, how is it performing, I had to send one back screen went all black ,dasaita is going to send me a replacement hopefully I have better luck with the replacement.
there are three wires you need to play with if it's not working sw1, sw2, and gnd. (focus on the sw1, sw2 and make sure it's connected to the right wire on the oem harness side) After that you need to map the buttons using the swc app.
Hi. excellent video. very complete. I just bought this unit for my 2017 4runner, but I could not install the rear camera. could you help me. Thank you.

It sounds better
How did you get the sterring wheel control to connect

no issues with SWC. As odd as it is it i had on other units depending on the voltage of the battery. SWC generally is control through resistance

On the Amazon listing, it doesn't say it can fit 2010/11... but can it?
Can you connect it with a frontcam?
Good afternoon, could you give me the part number of the correct harness... that works with the factory rear camera of the car

How do I get my steering wheel keys to work correctly?
in the settings there is a steering wheel option where you set up the keys.
I’m having the same issue, the steering wheel key reset feature isn’t working. Also the push to talk to make a call doesn’t work

When you start the 4Runner can it boot directly into wireless carplay without manually starting zlink every time the vehicle is started?
Yup, just turn your car on and after like 5 second it boots into carplay. You don't have to touch anything
You forgot to disconnect main battery, is just a recommendation.
Oh shit eh now we're talkin buddy ;)
