I've had the 10 litre one for a few years and its never let me down, got the full set up of one 30ltr, two 20ltrs and another 10ltr back in October and will test properly over the warmer months! The quality has dropped a little over the years, the plastic buckles are cheaper than they used to be but otherwise all good. I got mine from Moto 2008 store on Aliexpress. Also i bought some nylon webbing strap on ebay, cut off the plastic buckles from the Uglybros straps and made up my own straps that are permanently attached to the sub frame and i just stuff them under the pillion seat when not in use, just so i dont have to faff about with the metal hooks lol.
I have the Kriega OS base and medium sized 12L each OS side bags. Might have to get the 30l of this to throw across the top for camping. Lots of space for a tent, sleeping bag, mat etc. Wish they made a 5l that I could use on crash bars. Thanks for sharing your experience.
These look fantastic, I already have the 40ltr Kriega rack pack and my wife has the Kriega US 20 bag, these UglyBrothers look exactly like Kriega, a blatant copy, but a fraction of the Kriega price tag, anyhow I've just ordered 2 of the 10 ltr bags for my trip to Norway next year, I want one for keeping my waterproofs in and another for my DJi mini 2 drone set, I hope they are as good as they look, now just see how long they take from China. Thanks for the excellent video showing them in great detail, happy riding 👊 Cheers Mike
Hi Mike no.problem at all glad it is of some use. I must say they are excellent took about 4 weeks to get to me but well worth it. Let me know what you think of them when they get to you
Great review! Helpful, detailed, practical. 30+20+2x10 I look to arriving these days, X-Mas present. Cannot stop tracing courier link :D I was wondering if same as bags someone was looking for rucksacks, benchmark Kriega R20. Cheers, great wather in Poland we had 01 Jan for riding :)
Thank you for sharing this, very helpful. I’m going to buy the 30/20/20, I was a little bit skeptic, but you sold it very well 🤣🤣🤣 thank you again for this and happy new year 😏
Great review mate! I have a Kriega backpack and it is brilliant! Wanting something similar to these for a short trip next year but as i don't do many trips i can't justify paying the Kriega prices. Seeing as this review was done 2 years ago, wondered if you have an update? How have they held up? Thanks.
Wow! Thanks! Finding new options to the big boys every day. I’m a father of 4 who just bought a 2020 WR250R to go adventure riding. I simply can’t afford wolf man/kriega/mosco gear.
Welcome aboard glad you found it useful. Its always a challenge getting lugagge sorted we all want something that looks good does the job without compromise to quality...love mine
Very useful video. I just received these bags and didn't know how best to use the straps, so I happily stumbled across your video. It will save me some time. Happy riding!
Just ordered one of these guys. 30 litre to be specific, really hoping that it will serve the purpose when and if we go to nc500 this spring. Thanks for the great review, and reassuring me that I made the right choice 👍🏼👍🏼
Hi thank you and yes the 30 ltr will do a tour without another bag to be honest, sits easily and the mechanism to secure is brilliant. Appreciate your comments
I can tell just from the video that the quality of materials used isn't up to the Kriega quality but I guess you get what you pay for and the Kriega stuff is very expensive. Does it come with 10 year warranty?
Hi the material is the same. I have a us Kriega 10 ltr that i got before these bags to do a comparison. I tour 3 times a tear so for me it is very capable bone dry in the wet (i was in scotland 3 seeks ago so tested it fully, no leaks very impressed) it is of course about what you want and need maybe you dont tour or want something for a day out or a trip to the office? Either way these are very good and will support it. I have changed my bike now have panniers i bave gone from a sports bike to an adventure bike but these fit on top of the metal boxes as well. Thanks for your comments best of luck with your choice and happy biking buddy ell. Tha ks
I've just bought the Kreiga US20 for my Ducati Monster 821. I'm guessing that I could add 2 x 10L Ugly Bros and they would attach the same as Kreiga 10L bags. Thanks for the video .
The price for the bag on AliExpress was good. The shipping was ridiculous considering I have had items ordered off of eBay shipped from China to Canada. For that reason I didn't order them. I was going to order 2 x 30L and 2 x 20L bags.
Hi thanks for the comment. The bags are not deigned to strap side on but thats not to say you cant if you had a frame to attach it to. It is modular so bag attaches to bag side or top, nothing would suggest attaching to a frame wouldnt work. Maybe the 20ltr version. The 10ltr ones are capable of being tank bags as well.
I purchased two 30 ltr, a 20 ltr and a 10 ltr. Bags are great, however the "metal" clips are infact made of cheese. Sooooo soft and any real pressure applied to them fractures them... Not good. I am going to purchase Kriega straps to replace them. Not the same plastic clips, but the non Kriega clips can be swapped over.
Good to know Kev fortunatly i havent suffered the same issue thankfully. Clips straps work very well and i use tgem regularly as well. But it is horses for courses what works for you buddy. Appreciate the feedback its good to get a balanced view
Hi bud, great reviews! Thinking of taking a punt on these, just wondering if since Brexit, you were stitched up with extra delivery charges upon arrival, like we are seeing from deliveries from France etc? Thanks, craig
@@craigdon5142 i have had them for a while but ordered 2 seperate lots - a 30 ltr and a 20, then afterwards ordered 2 x 10ltr (Brexit period) Ali express is where i got them from and delivery about 2 to 3 weeks.
@@craigdon5142 I got mine from Moto 2008 store. A 10 Litre one a couple years back and a full set in October last year all from same seller. Its actually better now delivery charge wise post brexit on Aliexpress as VAT is included at point of sale, when ive ordered things in the past a few times i got stung by VAT and duties on delivery PLUS a very kind £7 fee from royal mail for the privilege!!
I take that back, just looked at the cost of those bags, OMG!!! if any of them did fail you could just buy another one, I think I saw the 30litre for £16, is that right? the Kriega 30 litre is £150 :0
They dont look like YKK zips, stitching doesn't look as substantial as the Kriega and Kriega use Cordura main body material which is way more durable than ripstop. The other thing of course is the amazing customer service at Kriega, I had a rucksac R15, 9 years old and the zip broke, they replaced the whole bag no questions asked. Great review but I think I will stick with Kriega... You get what you pay for.

Great review, I appreciate all the details comparing the brands quality.

Thanks. It helps me to decide which size is right for me. Cheers.👍
Glad you liked it great bags by the way

How are these holding up 3 years later? I have kriega stuff, lasted over ten years some of it... interested to see the longevity of the clones

My 20L arrived today, £28 including delivery from aliexpress, can’t fault it, superb
Craxking bags still have mine great value and very capable

Hi yes absolutely the mechanism to join the 10ltr is exactly the same so worth a purchase
Very good review! Just sent for one 30 L from Ali, a bargain compered to the Kriega! Thanks a lot and I look forward to future videos! Ride safe :-)

My pleasure Randolph pleased it was of some use for you buddy - really appreciate the positive comment.
Thanks for the review. I have Kriega... but next ones will be uglybros
Same here but likely expand with these for the off times I need more space.
