Can’t wait. I am in Chico CA and this is one of the reasons for my Bronco. As a staging and follow vehicle for my Pacific coast bike ride from Alaska to Mexico.
I live in Ventura county, grew up here, and I gotta say thank you. You made Cali look prettier than any commercial ever made. Also, highway 101 is the greatest drive in the state
Man, my daughter and I spent a week in Ferndale CA 2 summers ago and we spent most of that time on the Ave of the Giants. One of the coolest and most beautiful places we’ve ever been. We also just returned from Idaho via the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone about 5 days ago. Such a beautiful country we have. Enjoy your travels sir and glad you’re over covid now.
Nice production of the narration and water sounds flowing across a mixture of shots, some at different speeds to clarify the object, others showing your joy in experiencing the adventure. Excellent composition
Avenue of the Giants and 101 in northern California are superb places to drive and your videography of Fern Canyon is spectacular. Glad you're over covid, thanks for sharing.
Fern Canyon is spectacular. The way the water drips down, it’s like Mother Nature’s drip irrigation system. Such a shame you had to cut the trip short but glad you and Hillary are well.
Glad you are feeling better now. I'm headed to WY and MT myself then back to WA in about a week to visit a few national parks and do some dispersed camping.
Great video Justin! Those redwoods are amazing! You almost sounded Canadian saying sorry multiple times for not thinking you were showing the beauty of the canyon! Looked pretty good!
Being in the Bay Area . We frequent The Lost Coast north a lot. You did a great job with the content. It is very sad, 90+ percent of old growth have been cut. Usal Beach, Usal road are definitely worth seeing. Humbolt, north of Eureka, One of my favorite places on the plant. Side note, do you originate from the LA area. “THE” 101 is definitely a Southern California thing. Northern California residents don’t.
Justin it is just myself and wife. 59 yrs old and live in Oklahoma. Bronco would be my daily and our weekend vehicle to go shopping for groceries etc. We drive a lot and about 100 miles of hwy on weekends going to Tulsa from where we are. I'm due for a new vehicle and have a tiguan now and really think if like a Bronco and also travel with it. I like the two door I think more than 4. Is it just as quite inside as the 4 dr?
Hey Justin - in your last short you noted that green trails on OnXoffroad were the way to go. In this video (and their map legend) you seemed to indicate blue were the better trails. Can you please unconfuse me? 🤔
Blue will be full of all the data: photos, description, rating, weather, etc. while the green routes are not curated. What I was saying the green routes short, is that you use green routes to really explore because there is less info on them. I use the blue trails to gauge what an area is like. To see photos of what to expect. The Blue routes are my first line of info when planning.
Cool trip video, Justin I am in the process of ording my bronco. would you recomend the two door for everyday driver. I am torn between the 4 door and the 2 door.
This is my city and yes my state is beautiful but don’t think anyone could come here. Plus you need to be on your toes because thieves are everywhere and they will pull a gun out and rob you or hurt you. So best to stay away
I enjoy looking at the bronco but I see bikes and y’all don’t ride bikes? I see many who have bikes surfboards and other outdoor toys but never use them instead I see them talk too much or cook and eat something? I’m just saying.
@@JustinBMcBride finished watching and that was a good watch. I like this bronco setup specially the rear of the bronco. Fat tire bikes are awesome. Keep the videos rolling great job thank you.

I love the videos, you just never really tell us what it’s like long term camp in 2 door. Awesome to see your trip, I just don’t learn much.
Oh man, we just missed you at the beach camp! Such a cool spot. So dang packed though

Looks like a fun hike! So green!

glad you got to check out Fern Canyon. Such an amazing little spot. definitely the camera can't capture the experience between the canyon walls.
I haven’t been there since I was a kid. You’ve inspired me to go back! Great camera work as always.

The views are amazing! Love the camera shots! I'll have to make a trip down the 101 starting here in Washington State!
Another fantastic video, your music choices are superb!
Thank you!
I live in the PNW and I have rarely captured decent pictures of lush green forest trails. It is much better experienced in person.
100% agree.
We camp there about 5 times a year its awesome!
Love your content, makes me wonder whether the Bronco I saw on the bridge was yours (baby bronco owner here) 😅
such an awesome trip
Oh my are those baby maxtrax on your backpack? Lol love it
Yes. Because I’m an Overlander.
what beach did you camp at?
Hah not on the Keto diet anymore ey.
Good video man. I lived around Santa Cruz for 10 years. NorCal is incredible.
Back on it. I woke up that morning with COVID…. I think slipping for cinnamon rolls was worth it. Lol
@@JustinBMcBride hah makes sense yeah. I do periods of Keto and or OMAD. Feel so much better... take care with the covid stuff.
Which tailgate table are you running? Do you like it?
Any hiking water shoe recs other than Chacos? I’m staring at 4 cuts on each foot from my Chacos and Keens that I got doing wet hikes in Oregon.
My dad is a Teva guy. He keeps trying to get me to try those.
That’s all you did was warm upp four biscuits?? Wow 😳
Cinnamon rolls on a beach. Yes. That’s “all” I did.

@@JustinBMcBride Thanks! Will you be at Overland Expo in Loveland? We plan to spend a month or two in Utah after that. ✌️
@@retireordie71 I won’t, I have family plans that weekend that are preventing me from attending.

What pot is that you used to cook the cinnamon rolls?

I love the 2-door for around town, but we really wish we had a 4-door for our summer on the road.

Plenty of bike riding in this one:
