Nowadays, most voice actors have plenty of paint pens at their table, but it is still a good idea to bring your own because they might not have a specific color or they might not have theirs prepped correctly
Thanks brother! I feel like the tips are pretty useful imo. Especially leaving the actual pops at home. You never know when someone is going to steal from you or you break a figure or lose your bag etc.
Sure! I use deco color pens. You can order them from amazon. They are like....I dunno...$8 for a variety pack? They are solid. You can get a closer look at what pens I use on tomorrows video.
@@UAMCollectibles Thx! I ordered 5M Pasco Pens now (Im from germany and the only horror con this year is on saturday) Do you have an idea how thick your decor color pen are? Thanks for your help :)
Uchida 300-6A broad point pen. Dont believe they come in a different style gauge. So I'll have to see what the actual pen says when I can get one in my hands. What part of Germany? I used to live in Giessen.
@@UAMCollectibles Thx, I think they're similiar to the Poscas I bought. Nice do you speak german? How long you lived there? Im from Niedersachsen, Gießen was in Hessen.
Hey there! Good question! So autograph values are basically the same no matter what is signed. Preference is on the collector. Now in your examples...I would say an autograph on the box of the figure would hold alot more value to a collector because it's the "standard" way to get something signed. Hope that helps.
Oh i see, the situation is I have a Guillermo del toro Funko with his autograph, My friend got it because helped with the event "en casa con mis monstruos" in Guadalajara México, he met guillermo and got his autograph on my Funko, but he signed directly on the funko (behind of the Funko head, no on the box) i was worried for the funkos value but now i'm relaxed (i never Will sell the Funko, but anyways i had the doubt inside My head hehe) thanks!
Love this video! I use alcohol swabs and it just wipes right of. Both work but I feel the swabs are just easier and more efficient to carry around just in case any mistakes or paint pen explodes. It has happened and because of the swabs I was able to clean it really fast and get it signed again. Thank you for making this video
Hey, I'm Heading to NYCCC to get Paul Rudd (Ant-Man) & Tom Hiddleston (Loki) autograph on some POPS!, was wondering should they sign the actual Funko Pop BOX, or the Hard Protector Case its in? Also what pop should I bring like Commons / Store Exclusives or both? -Great Videos BTW, just got in to the pop game not to long ago.
WOW! I never knew that trick to remove the Autograph Funko Pops. I only have one and its from Austin St. John (Who was Jason, the original Red Ranger in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers) and it says "To: Stephen, Austin St. John". For a while, I wanted to take the personalization off of it, but over time I realized I'd never get rid of it anyway, so I kept it on there. However, it's good to know that for future reference! I've never been to a big convention before but I really want to go to one. I'd love to get some MHA Pops signed! My dream Pop would be to get my Glow In The Dark All Might Funko Pop signed.
Sharpie fades on pops? Thats crazy glad i get other shit signed. Good advice on the personalized. I had one time where the celebrity was like "you can only have the item if i write your name on it"
Awesome video very helpful just what I needed cause I'm going to get my first Autograph from Jason Momoa, thanks I've just ordered it on Amazon, keep up the awesome work 👍😎

Big facts. I am a fan of dual colored signatures now. White paint for quotes, and yellow for signatures.
That was awesome! I didn’t know that lol.

You see it in his voice how much he hates himself for learning the hard way about using sharpie😂😂 4:49
Omg yes. Never...EVER...again.
which brand u recommend for signing funkos ? for example , which one did u use for all might ?
It scary knowing how easily the signatures can be removed.
Great vid and advice thanks for making. God Bless 🙏
Glad it helped! Would have been nice to know this when I started.
What type of protectors do you use
Pop Shields by 7bucksapop. I also like vaulted vinyl.
Awe man, I am so jealous about the Ichigo one, I want mine got autograph by the artist too, Ichigo is my most favorite anime. 😭
Yea ichigo is pretty baller. I really enjoyed the english voice actor they chose too. Vash the Stampede was my first ever favorite a time character.
Could you pls tell me what kind of pen they used for the bright color autographs (red, green etc)? Wanna get one of those pens. Thx!

Great heads up on this! Really cool tips. Great collection.
Appreciate it brother.
I have a question, what's more valuable? A box autograph or a Funko figure autograph (autograph in the figure itself, no in the box)

Solid video. Great info for all collectors!!
Thank you very much man!
Great video! Definitely will get some paint pens. Great advice on the dry erase marker. Thanks 🤙
Yea! When I first heard that it works I was like 'naaaaaah'. Well it does!
Cool that you're sharing some tips that you've learned as a collector! Great video!

Paint pens are literally spray paint cans haha I totally feel you about them exploding! Thanks for stopping by and I appreciate the kind words.
Awesome video. very informative!
perfect timing, was gonna get some signed next month but happy they postponed it so these can arrive in time (:
Awesome! I was actually planning on doing a convention autograph prep video for fan expo dallas....but then....yea...lol
Great video we haven't got any of our pops signed yet but we will forsure use paint pins!
Thanks! I want to get them all signed hahah

Hey hey! Thanks! This is one of my older videos too! Thanks for stopping by! Just dropped a new video 8 minutes ago!
If it’s paint you can use alcohol to wipe off
How much is the signing is it more for multiple signing??
Signatures at conventions for voice actors these days are about $40+ depending on the voice actor. Like Jiraiya was charging $100 for his 👁

I suggest never getting the actual box signed. Get the window signed with a paint pen. Windows are manageable
Nice trick to remove the perzonalized part, but does it also works removing the deco color ones?
From what I know...its strictly sharpie ink. But I'm sure acetone could remove the paint pen ink.

Well I followed your advice and got deco colors. And I hate them. THEY BLEED AND ARE FAT PENS! Do not buy deco colors! Get sharpie paint pens!
Did you use oil based? I've used oil based decocolors in the past and no issues. Molotow is the very best though.
Fair enough! I like the bold marks they make. I also recommend sharpie points! This was just my preference.
