I'm not going to lie, I've been avoiding book of Revelation for some time now. But I had a dream last night about me and some others singing a song that's not on the radio and dancing tell Jesus to come and something else but we we're also talking to people about Christ. Then this morning my pastor preached about our talents and gifts and using them for the Lord and the 5 wise and foolish virgins and are we prepared or ready for His return... Then I opened up UA-cam and seen your study about Revelation and kind of scrolled passed it but I was like let me stop running from this and now I'm studying with you...God always know how to reel me in. I don't want to be ignorant any longer! Thank you for this bible study!

Loving this! What's hitting me right now is that description of Jesus in his fearsome glory, eyes and feet blazing, sword coming from his mouth 😮 I mean John fainted when he saw him and I prolly would have too! But Jesus says, "Do not be afraid. I am...I am...I am..." Got me thinking that the antidote to fear in the face of the fearsome is remembering who Jesus is. Thanks Ms. Kim!! God is sovereign and what I love about Him, He does not leave us (believers) in the dark. It tells us all what will come and to obey and listen. Obey & listen is Clinging in itself. I decided I was ready to do this study (I have tried many studies on Revelation and failed every time because of the weight of it). Thank you so much for this! I’ve read Revelations many times, however I’ve never joined a study on Revelations. I like that you suggest to us on “focusing on observations” bc sometimes in focusing on the wrong things at the wrong times we miss what’s important. I feel that in this season we should at least be open to reading and being aware of what God is telling us in Revelations. As you’ve said before clinging is the main thing. Getting in closer relationship with our Heavenly Father should always be a goal in studying His Word.

Ooh, I get chills every time I read this description of the living, glorified Jesus - shining and burning and amazing! That's my Savior standing there; that's OUR Savior standing there holding the keys of death. AMEN! And this awesome, powerful God wants us to cling to Him; He is here for us and will be WITH us as we walk through the fire and waters. I want to bow down before Him in love and honor - my King. Hi Kim, thank you so much for reading this chapter in Revelation. I can recall a couple of days ago when I woke up, something told me to anoint my head and anoint each and every window of my apartment. I did just that and that was over a week and a half ago. A friend sent me a sermon today talking about placing the blood of the Lamb across your door post. Now as I'm listening to your Channel, it is reminding me of two dreams that I had. One dream I had when I was in high school. That dream was about the horn is in the Angels mouth. When I was in college I dreamed that something like this wouldl happen when the armies would come in and start separating people and take them to some sort of holding camp. God is in control. I know the Lord talks to me through dreams at times. I'm not afraid it's just something that has to be done. I just pray to God that I will never get too busy or distracted to not have space for him so he can lead me to where he wants me to be.
Thank you for this study. I love that you wanted us to gleen from the teaching not necessarily draw an absolute conclusion. Thank you so much for this! I’ve read Revelations many times, however I’ve never joined a study on Revelations. I like that you suggest to us on “focusing on observations” bc sometimes in focusing on the wrong things at the wrong times we miss what’s important. I feel that in this season we should at least be open to reading and being aware of what God is telling us in Revelations. As you’ve said before clinging is the main thing. Getting in closer relationship with our Heavenly Father should always be a goal in studying His Word.

Ooh, I get chills every time I read this description of the living, glorified Jesus - shining and burning and amazing! That's my Savior standing there; that's OUR Savior standing there holding the keys of death. AMEN! And this awesome, powerful God wants us to cling to Him; He is here for us and will be WITH us as we walk through the fire and waters. I want to bow down before Him in love and honor - my King. Please, let the eyes of those who do not know Him be opened before their knees are forced to bow. What promises and hope are here even in this first chapter!

Danielle, I feel the same way as I read about Jesus in Revelation. This "living, glorified Jesus" is YES....our Savior! Your heart HAS to bow down before His splendor. Hi Kim, thank you so much for reading this chapter in Revelation. I can recall a couple of days ago when I woke up, something told me to anoint my head and anoint each and every window of my apartment. I did just that and that was over a week and a half ago. A friend sent me a sermon today talking about placing the blood of the Lamb across your door post. Now as I'm listening to your Channel, it is reminding me of two dreams that I had. One dream I had when I was in high school. That dream was about the horn is in the Angels mouth. When I was in college I dreamed that something like this wouldl happen when the armies would come in and start separating people and take them to some sort of holding camp. God is in control. I know the Lord talks to me through dreams at times. I'm not afraid it's just something that has to be done.
I just pray to God that I will never get too busy or distracted to not have space for him so he can lead me to where he wants me to be.
