    Hi Guys,
I thought I'd share my process for taking macro photography and videography with my micro four-thirds (m43) Lumix GH5 and Olympus 60mm f2.8 Macro lens.
I mainly make content about watches. In this video, I capture:
    - Grand Seiko SBGN001
    - Rolex Explorer 14270
    - Greubel Forsey HM1
    - Oris Pro Pilot X
    - JLC Gyrotourbillon

Can you do like a behind the scene video? I would love to actually see how you set up you camera and lighting as well as playing around with different settings and show us how it changes the shot. Great work, super interesting.

Taken you long enough to do this 😉 as someone who loves photography I’m not here for the tips. But certainly am for you.

Another superb video. That’s the mistake I made of shooting at 1.8 and 2.8. Now will try shooting at 7 and 9 as well and the lowest ISO. Many thanks.

Damn, I remember joining bark and jack back when you did I think like top cheap watches and there was a seiko 5 in there, being on a small channel of yours feels like I’m back in the club of early birds

Hi Adrian, thanks so much for doing this video! My lowly channel only aspires to the sort of shots you get but this guide has been especially useful for composition. I am using an Olympus TG6 which has a microscope mode and can shoot unbelievable macro...the only challenge is that I need good light due to the small sensor. Anyway, thanks again and keep up the great work!

Hehe... sure isn't, but don't forget: practice makes perfect. Also, if you are using a digital camera... you don't have to pay for film or development... you can see n learn from your results in minutes! ;-)

Hey Adrian, great video. I’ve recently got into macro photography of watches and learning all the time. This video has given me some really helpful tips. Have you tried focus stacking? I’ve not done this method yet but by taking several photos of the subject at the smallest aperture and moving subject at slightly different focal lengths ,then layering your photos will yield a much crisper image than taking just one image with complete subject in focus. Hope this made sense.

I was actually just trawling through the video list on b&J and couldn't find these. For a min there I thought there was either copyright issues or something else with the videos and you took them down. Subscribed already and looking forward to seeing more Adrian.
    Happy new year.
    Cheers

Thank you, I've been struggling with my macro shots, especially video and was wondering, which step to take next (lighting/lens etc.).
I was suprised that the link to the Olympus Macro lens was missing in your gear description, could you maybe add it later on?

Hello. I am using a Canon EOS 70D with a 50mm Prime lens attached to a macro extension. Is this gear too old to capture new standard stock footages.

Hi! Thanks for the awesome content. I'm looking for vintage macro lense... any ideas? I've a couple vintage lenses, but those seem to have a tint or hue/tone left on the pic. My reason is the cost... I can learn, n decide if I like it before buying an expensive lense.

it's used in photography as in to make the SUBJECT large. idk why, but that's how it's commonly framed.
