Oh no, this one is discouraging and the theology is lacking. If suffering exists in the form of sickness to make Christs return more than “cool,” then death or even his return is our savior, not Jesus. Who we are, right now, in Christ, is healed. Jesus said it is finished. It has been finished, all the way, for over 2000 years. He doesn’t need us to die to or his return to actually finish his work. He’s seated now because the work is done.
Don’t let your questions and temporal experience dumb down the magnitude and amazing truth of the gospel of grace. It is finished! 😁
Having him and being healed are not separate things. He is healing! He doesn’t ask us to choose! Saved in the Greek is sozo. Sozo means saved, healed, delivered, set free, made whole. When we were saved, we received everything in our spirit!
“By His stripes, you WERE healed.” 1 Peter 2:24
We no longer identify with those that Jesus ministered to in the gospel. We were co-crucified with Christ, and now are seated with him in heavenly places. That means we identify with Jesus! As he is, so are we in this world, right now! We are healed! And yes, those that know the truth have been absolutely set free from sickness. But the truth is wayyy better than this podcast shared.

You actually don’t have to choose between Jesus or healing. Jesus is EVERYTHING we need.
Very simple & easy: John 10:10 “the thief came only to kill, steal, and destroy.” V.11 BUT I CAME TO GIVE YOH LIFE & LIFE MORE ABUNDANTLY. - so if anything is killed, stolen, or broken, it isn’t God, it’s the devil. So don’t question or blame God because God didn’t do it. War with the devil and make him pay.
You don’t have to walk in sickness, in poverty, or oppressed. You can live FREE from all of that because Jesus took all of that away.
We don’t need to suffer to make Christ’s return “cool.” That’s not even close to be right. Yes, we are waiting and it’s going to be great, but we have a MISSION to accomplish. LEAD people to JESUS. Heal the sick, raise the dead, cast out demons, and make disciples.
NOBODY has to suffer. That isn’t God. All throughout the Bible, God rescues and keeps in PERFECT health, those who were upright.
The issue isn’t God, it’s with us. God is who He says He is and He watches over His word to perform that which He has spoken.
So if there’s an issue, it’s because there’s a lack of knowledge In God’s word, and or, believing in His word. You must believe that God is, and He is a rewarded to those who diligently seek after Him.
God responds to His Word & Faith.

Consider it pure joy when you face trials of various kinds
@@weejehcahsmee that’s not specifically speaking of sickness or disease. Did Jesus ever tell someone who was sick and trying to be healed “count it pure joy” and walks away? Nope.
Even if the enemy tries to attack you, it doesn’t say let it happen and you have to just deal with it. You believe for healing and you exercise your faith as the Word says.
So I’m not sure why you brought that up. If you like being sick then and happy about it then cool, but that’s not in God’s promises nor do I have to deal with it.
The devil can’t have his way with the believer. Just like the devil can’t do everything he wants on the earth now because the church is still here.
