As a person who's life has been ruined by gossip, for my wrong doing; my heart was pounding through the whole conversation. I think i've finally found closure by listening to this episode, and also taught me to show more grace from my side since i know what it feels like. Thankyou Lord, and the ways he's using this podcast to bless listeners all around the world
I needed this. I struggle with gossip at work. I'm more so a bystander when gossip is spoken around me and sometimes when I "vent" to co-workers it starts to become gossip instead.
"Sticks and stones may break my bones but your words will never hurt me" this is something my mother told me to tell someone at elementary school when I told her they were being mean to me and picking on me. So I used it one day and the girl just rolled her eyes and said "that's a dumb saying". But it actually gave me courage to realize that I didn't have to take her words to heart. And I got picked on a lot in school by a lot of different kids so that saying set in my mind that I didn't have to worry about what they said and also that I could still have a humble heart and not respond to them how they were talking to me. It gave me courage to be kind regardless of how I was treated .
Thank you guys for this podcast. There are many out there that edify, sure. But this one, it gives me a holy comfort like no other pod does and it births sudden urges in me to be away with the Lord. 💙
This is very timely. Watching this has enlightened me on the fact that I gossip but never actually knew it was gossip. Thank you for all the handlebars and the corrections in love. I really needed this. The Lord really convicted me while listening to this.
Soo good, to be honest i was dealing with something similar and this gave me so much clarity. I always said exactly that "if im not part of the problem or resolution" and people told me thats rude but this gave me confidence to stick to that. Thank you guuuys
Love it!!!🤣🤣🤣 Are aliens real... More like are demons real? I used to change the subject to... Hey! How are you doing? Or what about your family how are they?😂😂😂 I try to move in love. By the time we're done talking, the conversation turned to their heartache or they personally have a prayer issue. And I'll always ask if they need to prayer. (I live by Power of life is in my tongue because it's so easy to speak death into someone). Now, I just listen... And ask Holy Spirit what do you want for this person and He will quickly say... Loneliness, or pain or let's me feel their pain. And then I am able to pray for them. That person will come back to me next time with an update on our prayer session😂.
