Hey Luke, nice video! Really enjoy your content lately. I would've liked to see how those pants fit though, perhaps filmed from further away with a full body shot
Hi Luke, thanks for this detailed review. Much like yourself I’m a short fella; 5’6” and weigh about 69kg - slim build. What waist size would you recommend for the Casatlantic trousers please? I have been looking at their pleated styles as well
Hi mate, I’d say to go with your normal waist size. I found them pretty true to size and the size guide on the site is really well put together so that’s definitely worth a look at too.
@lukehodges another excellent video - thank you! I am curious to know what your experience has been of purchasing goods from Casatlantic from the UK. Have you had to settle VAT, customs and handling fees? TIA
Thank you! The experience was great, super quick and easy. They transfer everything into pounds which is really helpful. You do have to pay Import tax though which was via parcelforce I believe.
Hi 👋 Greetings from New Zealand. Very nice clothing. I have worn different styles over the years from the 1960s. I liked peg leg narrow trousers of the 1960s. From Carl.
Cheers Michael! Turn ups are a bit of a personal preference so definitely no need to have them. They do say to have them to add a bit of weight to lighter materials so the trousers weight down an bit more and stay in place but if you’re not a fan I’d say to go without.
Hey Rob! Drop me a DM when you’re next in town. I like Percival as a brand, not everything is for me but they do some nice designs, especially the more recent items.
Im not sure if they have it immediately visible on the website, but i know they have a whole page on there about how the brand was founded and the inspiration from Casablanca and Nathaniel Asseraf’s grandfather’s military trousers Edit: after watching the rest of the video i saw that you found it, yay!
@@LukeHodges Fair point, you did a solid explainer of their backstory. Also gotta say I love their trousers. I have a pair of their cotton Mogador pleated trousers, and just bought the Safi linen ones you were looking at. Best high waisted trousers I've found out there!
Love seeing the page grow. Its definitely helped in adjusting my style. Cheers
Thanks mate, glad you’re enjoying it!
Great great website. I love the effort of explaining the Fit and sizes. SUPER helpful. And I love the minimal options, almost a capsule wardrobe. 👌🏾
Very nice. Tempted with the trousers and the shirt. Also love your opening shirt from buck and mason
Cheers Michael!

Style fits you really well.😎
I got a knitted polo, and I love the raglan cut to them. Really comfortable
Enjoy your channel and style, keep on doing what you're doing
5' 7 sir you got yourself a subscriber. Short king represent

Hi Luke, have a look at Les Pantalon Scavini, French Sartorial, amazing fit and quality. hoping you can do a video on them soon.
Cheers Jermain, I’ll check them out

Keep up the great work.

Love the channel Luke. Do you think these and kitblake trousers always need a turn up? Love the idea but I feel it restricts the footwear

Thanks luke. What size did you go for. I’m in between a 30 and 32 and the 32!have no sold out
Luke. Would love to grab a cocktail with you when I’m in town. Currently in NYC and continue to be a huge fan. Thoughts on brands like Percival?

Loving your channel Luke
Cheers Darby!
Is the shirt cotton ? I could only find a linen one on the website
I love their style, I've always wanted to pick up some pieces. Are the trousers too small on you? It looks like the fly is coming apart from tension.
I actually didn't zip it up the whole way as I was in a rush, noticed when I was editing 😅

Any ID on the jacket/overshirt you have on when you look at their backstory? Really nice vid!
Thanks! It’s a towelling chore jacket from Drake’s
I personally never could wear such skinny trousers, but the rest looks amazing.
A very nice and modern site 👍
I was very close to pull the trigger on those trousers, but is a bit more than I feel comfortable spending on clothes.
That’s fair, keep an eye on the preowned sites as they can come up occasionally
Shirts look great Luke. Wouldn’t size down given the shoulders and body gives a more relaxed elegance. This brand is doing some nice things!
Very nice collection
Thanks mate!
“Theres not really anything about the brand” (pulls up the top menu that says Our Story)… “I might be missing something” 😅
😂 all I can say is stay tuned for another minute

Nice video. What shirt are you wearing in the opening scene?
Thanks mate, it’s from Buck Mason
