Drake's lookbooks are just fantastic: not that formal but very stylish. I went to the shop in Sevile Row and they were super friendly and welcoming. I felt at home. But couldn't afford a pair of socks. Is one of those brands that even second hand is out of my budget. I love everything though.
This video was a real treat - thanks Luke, really enjoyed your views on this lookbook. The roomier, raglan sleeved overcoat trend they are tapping into is interesting
In my opinion, its only RRL & La Martina, that checks all the boxes when it comes to styling Rugby full sleeved t-shirts in the menswear category. Few brands get it too colourful, others cram it up with too much graphics/ statement logos. But I personally love a rugby tshirt in a solid yet muted, neutral colour palette with subtle details like corduroy lined collar or contrast elbow patches. Pair it up with some dark selvedge denim or not too crazy cargo trousers, you're in for a great sunday breakfast brunch/ golf club look. Edit* I will add Gant - though its almost similar to RRL. Quick Question - what's the usual opinion about brands which are not necessarily high luxury but do ensure quality at affordable prices. 🤔😶
Oh Drakes. Money!!! Fully understand holding off on the jacket, one day eh? Enjoying the content and just bought my first suit in many years , totally inspired by your channel.
Great video! Sucks to hear about you losing out on the Drake's item. I missed out on a perfect Todd Snyder green utility jacket a month ago.. I'm still mad I didn't get it!
Thanks for the great walkthrough. What are your experiences with the fit of the raglan coats? They say size down, but if you want to wear over chunky knit wear or corduroy suits, one needs a little bit more freedom right?
Thanks for watching! From my experience they do come up a bit big but if you’re planning on going heavy with the layering true to size might be the best bet
What are your thoughts on the brand John Smedley? I thought they were a premium brand but I regularly see their stuff on Ebay for cheap so I'm not sure.
I like the brand, I buy them preowned a lot for that reason, retail price is a bit much for me. I think they’re so available because they produce so much
you cant really find it, but you can find a lot of businesses that have items that are only natural, and it varies. Drakes is mostly all natural, but some things like a few of their socks slip in poly's. Some of their socks are all cotton too though. you wont find a company that does 100% all natural but you can find all natural items, and companies that do it more often than not I could rec you some of the brands I shop bronson mfg spier and mackay fort belvidere ralph lauren (especially double RL collecion) brooks brothers if I could afford it I'd include drakes and armoury, RL purple label too

The green-navy combo is such a revelation. Casual but so elegant
💯
The dark denim on denim 🔥
I appreciate the look of the overcoat and scarf combination!
💯

Cheers Dan, glad you enjoyed it!
Between Drake’s and Magnum PI, I’m definitely getting into my “rugby shirt era” this Fall/Autumn! Enjoyed sharing this walkthrough with you 🙌🏾
Same! Loving that look right now

Haha I feel your pain. Can’t win them all I guess
Luke, can you please identify the ecru jeans you’re wearing? Couldn’t quite make out your description. Thanks!
any tips on octobre editions sizing? i’m 6’ and nervous to purchase anything
With regards to Octobre editions. What size are you usually and what size do you get from them please?

The drakes brown suede jackets and raglan overcoats are grails…too bad you need to take out a mortgage to buy them
Do you know of any business today, that only sell natural materials for clothing?
