The Pressure Control fitted to Coventry built tractors was quite different, using the standard tractor and mostly standard but sometimes re-enforced implement drawbar. It used a PC coupler, mounted on the lower links with a chain at a 45 degree angle down from an arm to wrap around the trailed implement drawbar. The driver controlled it through an extended position control quadrant beyond 'Constant Pumping' with the position of the lever determining the upward [lift] pressure at the links and hence through the chain, lifting the implement and transferring weight from it and the front of the tractor to the rear axle. The same could be done less effectively on any tractor by wrapping a chain around the links and drawbar and lifting the links, but without control of the pressure and lift force which would result in a loss of steering control in many circumstances and probably mechanical damage to something.
The only similar system I know of was fitted to David Brown tractors.
