I like how you said subscribe for a free heritage unit. So me and my friend said all I got to do is be smart to see a heritage unit. 20 minutes later WE SAW A WARBONNET!
Normally, I see people calling units fallen flag units when they're left unpainted from a railway no longer in existence. Heritage units were repainted by their current owners to look like they were from a fallen flag railway.
So I had a drone incident...it decided to fly into the side of a neighbor's house, it's toast...your videos have me motivated to get it flying again and catch some trains down South. Keep up the great work!!
An RS3L on an H2 GEVO is just godly, and I thought it was kinda weird when P5s were used on GEVOs.(but you know it’s NS and they use P5s on every main line Diesel, which I’m glad they do.) also liked the UP rebuild, ACHs etc. Congrats on 9k subs btw!
That UP flagless paint is what their paint scheme should always look like (at least in my opinion). It looks so much better than the long hood flag and especially the new no-wing nose.
Very nice video especially the RS3L on that DC Gevo. I heard on a few Facebook groups about the BNSF brand new ET44ACHs a few engineers and conductors like those units better than the C4 gevos even many railfans find them amazing and they are quite powerful. The engines are nickname the heavies for better traction even weigh about 436320lbs each a weight increase of only 2 tons over the old Heavy Spec. Also heard they are much better than the C4 Variations. Even shocking to have besides the ET44ACHS they also have the ES44ACH's as well being the 3200s and 3300 series it was a decade before they went back to getting the AC Gevos again.
you should try to go visit the pacific northwest, theres interesting equipment there such as an h2 sd60m with a p3, and a lot of emd locomotives (gp28-2s, gp38-2/3s, gp40-2s, gp60s, sd70macs, sd70aces) that mostly lead trains. theres places where trains go over 50 mph while passing at least 5 railroad crossings within a mile. theres 3 locations (auburn, kent, puyallup) and all of them are horn zones, which are considered horn alleys. as long as it is a weekday, trains are always active as sounder, a commuter railway company owned by sound transit operates many commuter trains in between lakewood and seattle.
I actually saw 7717 on some ore empites. Stumbled into it in Carlton and got it three times (Brookston, Arlberg, Meadowlands) before CN got in the way and blocked me from getting to Fermoy in time. 10/10 would ruthlessly chase again
I swear those ACH’s only last a couple months having the good looks on the front and side, before only the front can get you a little bit of the “clean” gevo feeling 🥴
Bnsf h2 with a rs3l horn rear more rear the the ex conrail horns i see on the ex conrail gp38-2 eh u dont get that much of differnt power on norfolk southern southern tier in upstate new york i see alot.of BNSF AND CEFX and KCS gevos sometime u get.lucky might see a canadian national gevo wich are rear.for me

Did you ever do meets there?
@BNSF1458 No. Usually, they were farther south around Hinkley or south of there such as Grasston.
NO WAY A Railfanner with a GF???

@@BNSF1458 I did today surprisingly 🤷🏾♂️
i did subbed but didn't see anything good, just a CN 100 which is not that cool, but maybe luck will come next time haha
BNSF 7717 should be repainted H3 and have it’s RS3L replaced with a K5HL. Thumbs up if you guys agree.
