I do not know why, but CN’s C44-9Ws, as well as their ES44DCs that go from 2220 - 2289 have the most unique design out of all GE locomotives seen in North America, in my opinion. Despite them not being the rarest, I still think they’re really cool!
This is funny because we get invaded by BNSF on CN rails sometimes it's almost every train same as with UP we get like 8-10 Autorack trains from them😅 we also steal most of y'alls H2 paints😂
In Canada we don't call it "The CN". Just "CN." (Or "CNR" if your grandfather worked on the railway before they adopted the noodle logo in 1963, or toothpaste as some called it.) That's partly because it started out as a government crown corporation that bought up a whole bunch of bankrupt railways in the 1920s as "Canadian National Railways." There was never a "The" in the name. Some of the constituent railways had "the", like "The Grand Trunk Western", etc. But never the amalgamated corp. (The) Canadian Pacific not so sure about but I think most people leave out the "The".
I have a buddy who lives by a CN subdivision, he came down to railfan with me on the Norfolk Southern Chicago Line and I swear he brought the CN power with him on these trains... was my buddy with you??
Also keep in mind, all of those CN trains you see in this video they’re all transfer trains from Canadian national tracks to BNSF tracks to Mexico how do you think CN gets to Mexico? Well, here’s your answer.
@@ConrailQuality775 isn't it because of the noise or shaking of the non isolated ones thundercabs i think the isolated ones look strange to me is because the headlines are on the nose and the windows have 2 long bar things than is higher u0
BNSf train symbols are way too long. CSX is just plain confusing as you need to be a full on CSX Geek man. NS is also the same. But UP at least makes it learnable faster because it’s the basic format of TYPE OF TRAIN/STARTING LOCATION/DESTINATION/(if secondary version then it has a B). The ethanol symbols are insanely hard to

6:41, April Fools! Another Canadian National train!
Dearest CN... thou has blessed, and sickened this humble man.
Back in August to December of 2019, it felt like UP took over the CN line I live by since CN used ALOT of UP locomotives including 1995
0:15 I’ve heard now that CSXT 1836 might come to me
1:10 Im pretty sure it stays on all the way, I saw a CN lead a grain train in Texas back in 2023. The DPUs were bnsf tho.
also it was a 1-2 lashup 💀
Well, there are CN railroads in Duluth and the Hinckley sub does run between Minneapolis and Duluth so I am not surprised about this
I clicked the like button and I caught UP1988 with two NS units and a UP SD70M!
Ah, so MNPAL of last week

Probably referring to the teardrop windshield design on those units.
Not just the teardrop windows, but I’ve noticed that the noses aren’t as steep, too.
No joke I liked and subbed and then next time I went trainspotting I saw a CN 100 year heritage GEVO
3:25, I definitely agree.
2:23
he do be vibin
BNSF 1458 "bro forgot how to do a crossing sequence" 😂 good video as always.
This was cool to watch! Love the CN! Wish I saw it more
Im the Michigan CN beast (for the most part)
@@KCTopDawg I agree Darryl I don’t see CN a lot
About all of the only foreign power here on the NS line we get UP and BNSF and rarely see anything other then those
Gevo looked like a Dash 9
U cant ever see enough foreign power
The CNs are coming! The CNs are coming!
The CN Teardrop gevos especially with markerlights they just hit different
0:05 wide train 💀
I liked the button, now I'ma hope for a Metro North Heritage Unit since I'ma be railfanning on my fav commuter line
Great video! I liked and subbed and I figured out that a p42 duo is coming in 97! And 92! That's super rare!
I liked this video, and sure enough I caught CN 8952 the Grand Trunk heritage unit
Finally someone who caught an actual HU and not a CSX one, good for you bro
@@BNSF1458Yessir 🔥, the zoom was also good since I have a good tripod now and I stole your zoom method haha
BNSF is invading all Erie Mainlines
Allow me to sum up the first half of this video.
BNSF: Hey, CN, can we lease a few of your locomotives?
CN: Our conquest has begun!
You will be assimilated.
Resistance is futile.
@@ebnertra0004 on the contrary, my friend, I am not resisting.
Why do they need to do that? Bnsf has almost 10k locomotives in their fleet. I don't see why they need to get Foreign power from other railroads
@@MystiCmeshtool you have a good point.
3:26
Yes! I see gevos all the time and I think they’d have a lot more visual flare if they used the Canadians’ design.
This works! I saw Wisconsin Southern 35th anniversary unit on vacation!
HOLY SHIT- CN BOUGHT EVERY LINE THATS NEARBY WHERE HE LIVES 😬😬😰😰
Another banger video! Up here, nothing has changed, just a BNSF 75I or GEVO once in a while on the Grand Forks train, lol
In Jamaica, there is no such thing as a heritage unit cuz there is only one type of locomotive (For Windalco), the ALCO RS8U
This is funny because we get invaded by BNSF on CN rails sometimes it's almost every train same as with UP we get like 8-10 Autorack trains from them😅 we also steal most of y'alls H2 paints😂
13:52 agree most of the gevos are pretty much the same except for the emd
Blud is railfanning the Cn Hinkley sub. 💀
In my opinion the CN livery looks much better on the Hinkley than BNSF power
10:49 OMG FINALLY SOME BNSF POWER
What time does SUPNTW leave Superior? Planning a trip up that way
9 times out of then it leaves at any given time in the afternoon
At least there not invading the San Bernardino sub
That’d be a nightmare
I’m was getting impatient for this video to come
Dang Canadians bought BNSF now 🗿
This is a joke
What are the longest distances any specific train crew will go? The train may go to Texas, but it goes through several different crews doesn't it?
Yes
There are trains that go from Chicago to lathrop CA
@@SignalMan9292 bring back cabooses, hire me, and let me cross the country in the train the way truckers do.
railroads pls
Clearly hardly any payback power since it's solely on the Hinckley, lol. Almost to a year without one...
Nice! Ever been to Rochelle Illinois?
BNSF 1458….i got a lot of NS ACEs here…. And GEVOs
Wanna few down there in exchange for all that CN over here?????????
Good video.
As a cn railfans I see nothing wrong

Three or four years ago I saw a lashup of four NS AC44CWs leading an intermodal.
I didn’t have my camera that day and I wish I did :(
One thing I’ve never understood is why American Trains are so long. Also how many Trains a day do you get?
Guys Canadian National is taking over BNSF😂😂😂
Thank you for taking all the CN M-2s
We don't want them
The only reasons for CN’s presence on the Hinckley Sub is because L506 has been running up to Superior again… 😂😮
😂😂
