Rush is completely unique and kind of guileless in the way they freely expressed and experimented. They were not afraid to change styles or try weird things - all in service of their songwriting. They completely rewired my brain as a musician when I first heard them. Hearing Rush always makes me excited to play music.
I've been a big Rush fan since Moving Pictures. Closer to the heart is a great song, even though it came out earlier on Farewell to Kings. None of the radio stations in town picked up any Rush songs.
Got to see Rush several times in the 70s. Saw the preview for Fly by Night your right after Perte joined the band in Cleveland small club less than 1000 people. Great memories 🤘
Always liked their music but have always had issues with Geddy’s vocals. Just not huge fan of high falsetto nasal vocals in general! Great video Mike and Matt! Thanks for your collaboration!
Love Rush! Great video and narration. They are true Rock Royalty and Icons. God bless and rock on 👍😎🎸
Thanks John 🎸 😊

Such a shame
I've always been a fan. I was privileged to be able to see them in Ottawa in the late 90s. What a show! Thanks Mike!
Wow really lucky bro
Another stellar content video. Great to see and hear your stand in voice and your smiling face mate. Oregon USA wishes you all the best..
Thank you brother you rock
Cool story Mike, Rush is legendary. Especially the late 70s stuff. Tightest band possibly ever.
Definitely

I’ve loved Rush since 2112 , we played it over the loudspeakers of the skatepark!
Woòoohoooo
@@Chinaguitarsceptic ran a spotlight on Neil at a show in 89 - 90 . I think it was the roll the bones tour
ROCK-N-ROLL Dream! Unfortunately they call me a working man!< Reference 😆 lol thanks Mike!
As usual cool story Mike. Rush doesn’t get their just due IMO. Hope you’re doing well my friend.
Thank you I'm doing well brother
Working Man. YES
Always liked their music but have always had issues with Geddy’s vocals. Just not huge fan of high falsetto nasal vocals in general! Great video Mike and Matt! Thanks for your collaboration!
Geddy is an aquired taste
It was played so much here in Montreal, I started turning off my radio. I was glad for them, but it was too formulaic a song for me- insert solo here.
