- I'm going to eat around in Oita Japan. It's known for delicious chicken foods such as toriten and karaage. Also dangojiru (soup) is amazing.

It’s adorable that the airport ground crew at the end were waving like the ferry staff do! Amazing food of course.
“Milch” is German for milk and “Käse” means cheese. 👋🏻🙂
"I wanted to try the footbath, but it's closed because of rain." Makes sense. You don't want to get wet while you're getting wet. :)
Anyone here loves the consistent format of these videos? It's so enjoyable to binge.
These videos are what make it believable that Japan's apparent travel industry is mostly food-related.
Never seem big thick noodles like that, looked absolutely delicious 😋
Oh! The ASMR crackling sound of the Yufuin burger wrapping paper heightened my hunger more than any image! Yum!
All the food sounds so good… the Yufuin burger looked amazing! And the flavor of kase pudding sounds very intriguing; I bet it paired well with that coffee. I’d love to try it all. Thank you for posting!
The toriten teishoku looked best to me! Looking at that huge bowl of miso soup with ponzu made me hungry!
That was a U.S. burger, where you have to unhinge your jaw to take a bite of it. It looked good.
You greedy man 😂
And once again you made me hungry
Thank you for your video... I am quite interested in the 'tempura' ... I think you will not be hungry for the rest of the week... 😄😄
I think I fell in love with the Yufuin burger as well, just by looking at it. I wonder if it's interested in a long distance relationship?
Might not have been ideal to walk in but for some reason I like the cityscapes in the rain. The cat bowl when eating the chicken made me chuckle. The hotel room for the price looked pretty nice and that food looked way better than the last hotel. Thanks for sharing Solo.
I like the look of the Yufuin burger but I'm very curious about something - is the cheese the melted stuff on top between the bun and the lettuce? Or is the cheese that yellow block looking thing between the tomato and the bacon? Because if it's the latter, I find that to be a very interesting (and possibly better) alternative than the melted cheese we normally see on burgers in the West.
@@CopiousDoinksLLC I'm assuming the cheese is the block next to the tomato and that possibly the top is Japanese mayo, either way I'm game.
One of these days, I will take a trip that follows your "!!!" food selections. That toriten looks amazing.
Eating Small.... Ha ha ha... :) Thanks for sharing!
STJ....how you are not the size of a house is beyond me. I love all vegetable and fish thin soups and broths.
Saving this video for when I'm NOT hungry 🥺
Wow big meals, especially for breakfast. I'm surprised you can eat so much. Wonderful food tour with this video.
That burger … OH MY, so yummy looking! Solo, do you film this in one day? Curious how you eat all this in one day. You must be a growing boy. 😄 Did you go into a food coma? Until next time, hugs 🫂
Yes. I filmed in one day. Thanks for watching
Wow! That really was an amazing food tour! So many delicious dishes to sample. Thank you for sharing this video. I also loved seeing the last image from the airplane as the ground crew waved "good-bye" to the passengers on the plane. This small gesture speaks volumes to me... In my family, we also wave good-bye whenever we are leaving, too.
Loved the sound of the rain and the food!
I thought the 🍜Dangojiru Teishoku looked very good. The dumplings looked so tender but not gooey.
Also the layered cheese pudding with the coffee ☕ looked like a very comforting dessert.
Great menu!
I love food and this all looked amazing
Thank You! ⭐
✌💛🤘
Thanks for posting this video 🙂.
this all you can eat breakfast looks good.
Japan is on my bucket list, all these all you can eat breakfast hotels will be on the agenda hahahahaha
I think I going to get a KitKat and cup of tea and settle down to watch this.
ほんとめっちゃ食べるから見てて面白い
What foods did I want to try? All of them!!
The toriten & the dangojiru looked through most delicious to me 😍
The toriten set meal early in the video looked scrumptious and the chicken meatball soup looked great also.
Oh rainy day.
The Burger. 🤤
"My bus leaves soon, I must hurry"
"THE HOTEL-PROVIDED BREAKFAST WILL BE EATEN, THIS IS NON-NEGOTIABLE"
What food did I want to try the most? Not Breakfast! The Bacon Cheeseburger looked very good. Of course all the Japanese food always looks fantastic and I want to try it all, just not that breakfast for breakfast. I do love your shows! I am also always surprised how inexpensive it is to eat and hotel in Japan.
I'm hungry now.
Absolutely beautiful & stunning.
I would like to try all the foods you showed in this video. Thanks for sharing these tasty meals with us. I hope I can visit these places one day and try all these amazing foods!
I want to try the pudding! It looked so good! Thank you for the videos!
The very first meal you had, I would LOVE to try. The soup also looked very delicious. I like this food tour channel so far, very much! Well wishes from Washington State, USA. 😁☺
Amazing video soooooo relaxing. And these rain sounds ♥️♥️♥️♥️. Keep going best of luck
It's the 1st time I saw a bit of an orange in the miso soup.
Provided you've got some decent water repellent clothes or an umbrella, I think in the rain is a great time to walk around a town - gives every inside place a cozy feeling! ;). Love these videos - wish I could do these sorts of trips.
Solo San, love the food and your ability to consume it all. I was disappointed that you did not have desert after that massive breakfast. You are going to have to learn to wake up early.
Wow, you have a great appetite sir. What great looking food at good prices
Thanks for mentioning this channel
You make everything look and sound soooooo good. If only I could taste!!
The toriten looked scrumptious. I would also like to try the Japanese pickles. You have what my grandmother called "a healthy appetite."
I want to try that soup! I looked amazing!!
All the food did, really, but the soup!
I don't have a bathtub in my house. If I ever install one, I would want it to be big enough for me to fully sink in. The one in the hotel looked only big enough to sit in. But! You weren't there for the bathtub, you were there for breakfast! So the size of the bath doesn't matter a whole lot in that case.
All of what you ate looks delicious.
Great video again. It's very fun to watch. Thank you 🙂
Toriten teishoku is something I may have seen here in the States, but not sure. If I ever see it again on a menu, I'm getting it for sure. Never knew the train station times were all in military time though, that was interesting to find out. I think I'm starting to learn Japanese words now after watching all these videos (lol). The dumplings looked more like wide noodles to me. I don't know where you have the room for that burger after that soup set, but the burger looked amazing.and the cheese was a slab, not a slice! "Eating small" means something different for you and me with the karaage chicken dinner 😮. The burger and the toriten are definitely on my menu. Thanks for the food tour!!
Thank you Solo San. Vicarious eating with you is very tasty, especially before bedtime...
It's sooooooo yummy
Dude I want to try it all, and I love rainy days, what a cool video
Yummy! Everything looks so delicious!
love the video, the food looked amazing, so glad i found your second channel!
Sogen Umakatta to? I'm from Kyushu but I've never had the authentic ”Toriten”, and was satisfied with only the Toriten at Udon-house.
Batten, I'll have to visit Ōita next time back home in Kyushu😉
I appreciate the respectful culture of Japan. The workers wave and bow on your departure.
What food did you want to try the most? . . . The dumpling soup. It looked exactly like what my grandmother made and I loved every precious drop. Both your 750 yen set meal and 490 yen a la carte meal looked delicious, but nothing compared to the dumpling soup, although the hamburger came mighty close. Loved your entire video, see you in the next one. Take care. 😊
The burger looked amazing, glad I ate before watching. Thanks
Everything looked delicious. I would eat all the meals. 🤤 It was a great idea to stay at that hotel for the all-you-can-eat breakfast. So yummy! Thank you for this gastronomic experience. 😃
your channel is motivation of my nihon language 😁
“Would you like to stop here to eat before we go and eat?” You are like a professional eater!!
I’ve watched all of your videos but I’ve never once seen you use a credit card at a vending machine or to purchase a meal ticket. Is this common in Japan, to use cash so often?
Big restaurant chains, convenience stores, etc. will often accept credit cards, or these days electronic payment by smartphone, but cash is still king at smaller mom-and-pop restaurants and places out in the countryside. A lot of vending machines are equipped to take smartphone-based e-money, too.
@@shirokumakogyo Thanks for the reply. I’ve never seen him use a credit card for any purchase, it’s always a crisp 1000 yen bill put into a machine.
1:30 your lunch meal looked absolutely yummy - I’m not a coffee drinker but if your pudding is best enjoyed with coffee I might just be persuaded - hope you were able to fast or eat lightly after everything you shared with us 🇨🇦🙏😷
Thank you for making this video. it looks great!
That chicken tempura looks so good
I missed the ryokan at 由布院 so much! You should have stayed for a night and show us😂😂
Anyway, great video as usual!
All the food looked delicious!
Wow that is alot of food and all look good!👍👏👏👏
Thank you for sharing! Waiting for your next video🙃
The dangojiru teishoku looked delicious. But then I'm just a fan of dumplings.
i want to try it all!!!
"All you can eat breakfast" of course that's a reason why you pick a hotel :) :) Yufuin burger looked really good!
That burger looked amazing!!
I would like to try all of the food it looks amazing
Never seen lemon in miso soup, I want to try it as well. The kase pudding had my mouthwatering! That was one hefty breakfast, looks delicious 🤤
I love ponzu. It is hard to find in my area so I gave to order it online, but it is absolutely worth it!
Everything looked so good! Definitely would try the noodle soup you had on your way to get the burger!
Always ready for yummy food trips…🍣🍥🍔🍲
Oh boy, everything looked absolutely delicious. I liked the toriten. It looked like a very nice set meal. I'm glad that you tried so many things. I never get tired of seeing Japanese food. I want to buy a bowl with the cat that you showed! Just gorgeous. Thank you for the great video. Love from New York.
So much food! Is this part of sumo training? I would burst.
Lovely videos and channel, please continue to show up the different types of delicious food in Japan!
Oh my God! I'm so hungry right know. I want to try Toriten. Karaage can be found in Brazil!
I think I'd love to try the pudding and coffee combo you had. That seemed neat.
I am hungry now!! 🤤
I would like to try the soup the one with lots of veggies and the kase pudding it looks really delicious ❤️😋☺️
Yufuin Burger! looks so tasty!
Everything looked So Good!
Yummm... 🤤 *All of them!
Toriten, the first one is the one I’ll surely try when I visit. Thank you for the recommendation!
I'm so hungry now . I shouldn't watch your food videos before I eat . 😀
Oh my goodness! I love karaage, but the toriten set looked so good! My husband loves egg on his cheeseburger. I may make that tomorrow! Thank you for sharing!
Very excited if you visit Osaka or Kyoto. I’d love some food recommendations
Toriten and Dumpling soup!! 🙏
Yay!!!
We just went to Yufuin in March. 😅 The food looks great!
Beautiful video! I am getting eating tips from you cause sometimes I don’t know what some of the dishes are for! 😝 I want to try all of it, except coffee. 😞
I think that you need to look around and invest in one of those cameras that are built into a pair of glasses. I would say just head mounted, but that might get you even more looks then you get now from holding your phone up to everything. Either way, particularly for these food based videos, you need to be able to use both hands.
I'd like to try the toriten teishoku, it looked delicious!! That burger was huge!!! It looked the size of some here in the US!! Kase looked interesting and the kaarage looked good too. Did you seriously eat all that food in one day??!!! (except breakfast)
Great video!!! Thanks for sharing!!
Yes I did. I ate a little too much this time. Thanks for watching
I love the breakfast’s in Japan you always have the greatest things and soup. American breakfast’s are boring compared to yours. We just have eggs, some kind of meat (usually bacon or sausage) sometimes pancakes or waffles and fried potatoes (hash browns). There are a few other things we have but not a whole lot. I want to come to Japan just for breakfast.
Next time I'll go with you 😺
Kase is German for cheese, so it's a cheese pudding. Looks like that cafe was somewhat German themed. Milch is German for milk and the only other German word I could see was Kuchen which means cake.
Toriten is my choice.
