I think that tea is taking the place of Mat going through the doorway. Especially with the hanging and Ishy saying it would show him his past lives

I figured the amyrlin seat thing was an illusion of some sort. Like they disguised a different chair or throne using Air or something

The cliffhanger will be Mat stabbing Rand with the dagger after he "killed" the DO aka Ishy

This episode was meh. Still better than anything in s1 but towards the bottom if I was ranking s2 episodes. The bad: everything with Mat and Siuan. The good: The first good Lan episode and Lanfear. Everything Lanfear.

Tbh this was the weakest episode of the season. knowing that Lanfear just Travels Mat to Falme what was the point of him being in Cairhien? Just let him travel with min from the Tower to Falme and meet perrin after he drank the tea from Ishy. Same outcome but without the intermezzo and Lanfears "secret" how he got there...

Not to mention that Mat being instantly and easily yeeted to Falme completely renders irrelevant the entire previous plot line between him and Min and their ridiculously implausible and contrived meeting in the dungeon which seemed totally absurd at the time and was now proven to be indeed totally absurd and pointless. What absolutely horrendous and incompetent writing. It's like this show is being made by children.

@@Dave3Dman I disagree, sure the mat storyline didn´t hit, but the 2. season is really good and it showed that the makers do know the source and how to write.
Just look at the episode before, that was great tv writing
