Think I was there the day after you at Bedford, such a fantastic learning environment, couldn't agree more with the difference it makes to the overall quality of the track riding afterwards...I was 50 when I did level 1 and it taught this old fat dog to be so much quicker and safer. Another top vid chops 👍
Flat tracks are very hard work, I used to live next to Pembrey and hated it. Brands Hatch is a much better circuit than any flat track, good job passing all the 'also rans' Chopsie
Worth every penny I’d say, nice one. Your 2step was really good later in the video and the throttle control✊ was mint👏 . You can hear how smooth and consistent it became 👌
Interesting. I’ve never done anything like this so to see how it works a big plus point . Looks like must if you want to improve your track skills. Great video Chops .
An inspiration Chopsy!! Help! Need some advice...late 40s...passed test 8 months ago...slowish learner....going to do level 1 and 2 of the school this year...BUT should I book them on consecutive days OR other option is one start of June then level 2 end of August...big gap but don't want to go 2 days in a row if it's too knackering and too much to take in and reset for the next day! Would really appreciate your thoughts. Thanks...and keep it up. I've learned so much from your videos think you're awesome! 🙏💫
I think I know what I'm doing until I see this. I have a tendency to peel in too early, limiting the exit. Learn from people that know what they're doing. Nice structure to the course too.
Another great vid I think it’s worth the money you can learn a lot from these training days making us better riders , you done all this as well as doing the vlog you can’t beet this very informative
Always enjoyed your vids Chopsy. But mate, trying to perfect on a ZX10 isnt easy. How to perfect your riding? Take a slow bike to the track. I used to race a Gixer thou. But I've learnt more racing 390's, postie bikes, 100cc farm bikes and a CF moto 450.
Nice chops, these are the best videos for me, I love the skills and techniques taught in schools like this, worth every penny. Plus the comments usually make me laugh.
It's pretty easy to see and execute the turns sitting in my chair watching it on TV.😁😁 I thought you did pretty well. Your height and weight has to cost you a bit of speed.
Ive done levels 1 & 2 a few years ago. I believe it gave me a definite plan to setting corners. I feel it improved my riding and allowing a safety factor in road and track riding. However im seeing a wave trail brake advocates these days. Personally i practice teail braking into corners on the road from time to time but i feel there is less margin of error as corner entry is faster and relying upon the process to maintain traction due to the attitude of the bike upto the apex. My question is: having gone through this training do which method do you prefer or is it simply that it depends on the cornera and circumstances? Open to all😅
Good progress mate, can see you’re not quite using all of the track and turning in too early which is putting you out of sync in the following corners…
What helmet is that ? From the video it looks like your eyes and line of site is at the very top of the "eye port". Not ideal when working on your vision.
It's going to be expensive when you have 3-1 student to coach ratio. Plus the circuits are extremely expensive to hire, I know Brands is about 20k for the day. So yes it's alot of money but in my view the best way to improve your track riding and many of the skills transfer to the road.
£2k to get to L4, I assume that is £500 per level (?). That doesn’t seem too bad at all to me, but then we all have different value / affordability points.
Most amazing old-dude track ride I ever did see...Glory to God Alone! Total inspiration! Gal 1:10 For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ. John 14:4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. John 15:14 Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. Luke 6:26 Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! Matt 10:8 ...freely ye have received, freely give. James 1:27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.
❤️...at age 64...? Do I order a 2024 bmw r1300gs or HOG? I used to own bmw before my friend got killed on his HOG...he was not a good driver... Need to smoke my cigar so need good wind control...or fire up my Lexus convertible...hey, I'm MOLLYCODDLED! 😆 🤣 😂 😹 James 1:27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

Thanks buddy 😁 👍
Great vid, did not need the crap music overlaying the sound of a bike on track, imo.

Glad you like them! 👍
Your videos are fantastic but I live in a country where 20mph is the legal limit.. this is no good to man or sheep where I'm from..
California Superbike School Another great vid from the chopsy........
Great start to Saturday 👍
Thanks Simon 😁 👍
Wow😲 good job that man!!!!
Thank you! Cheers! 👍

No Tea this time, I've just cracked a can open....Ha !
If only we could get the council to paint some x's.
Chospy looking at chops on the griller😂..and supposed to be "after a few sandwich" not sessions 😜😜😜
Hi chopsy, would you say what this teaches you as 100% transferable onto the road?
Some elements are yes, bike control, visual skills certainly are 👍
Do it if you like track days. Go get advanced road training if you want road skills. Thousands cheaper...
Just wondering why a track school bike still has mirrors on it?
Yeah not sure why they don't remove them..

It's a Forcit smart helmet and your right, I've since adjusted the padding to raise the helmet up slightly. Good spot 👍
But is it worth £2000 to reach level 4? Double that if you want to hire a bike.
Maybe, those skills could save your life one day.
What, finding a apex and increasing corner speed? On British roads?
I’ve done level 1 at Donnington - it’s just overpriced IMO
