In today's video we are going to discuss what is acid what is base.we will discuss general properties of acids and bases like acids are sour in taste while bases are bitter in taste. acids turns blue litmus paper to red while bases turn red litmus paper to blue. acids react with metals, metal oxides, metal hydroxides , metal carbonates and bicarbonates to produce salt and hydrogen gas or carbon dioxide and water. while bases react with acids to produce salts and water. acids and bases both dissociate in water and hence can conduct electricity that is both are electrolytes.bases are slippery in touch. this is all about today's topic if you still have any question you can ask your question in comments please subscribe to my channel and also like share and comment thank you for watching this video.
