- So, I went out on my own yesterday with a view to putting together Nottingham's most sensible Pub Crawl route where by you can get a train into Notts, do a sensible route around the city centre and make it back to the train station all within 7 hours... I ended doing 22 pubs, taking in the oldest, the quirkiest and the ones that play the best music... having a half in each... and this is the journey...
The Canalhouse
Ye Olde Trip To Jerusalem
Crafty Crow
Ye Olde Salutation Inn
The Royal Children
The New Ludd
The Southbank Bar
The Malt Cross
The Bell Inn
The Barrel Drop
The Church Of 400 Rabbits
The Tap N Tumbler
Foremans
The Pit And Pendulum
Six Barrel Drafthouse
The Cross Keys
The Blind Rabbit
Pitcher & Piano
Billy Bootleggers
Kean's Head
22 Pubs
10 Pints (well 20 1/2 pints)
1 Whiskey & Coke
1 Tequila
14,500 Steps
Just over 6 hours
and a Partridge In A Pear Tree...
Let me know what you think to the route and what you would change...
Love Nottingham and when we went in pitcher and piano it blew my mind, it is a beaut
Stunning building isn't it?
@@thegreatbritishpubcrawl it really is, hopefully get back in the summer.
A man in his fifties who's lived in Nottingham for the majority of his life and never once stepped inside the Canal House. Where have i been? Such a lovely pub. Delighted to see Foremans included in your itinerary.
Well hopefully now you can go and enjoy Canalhouse as much as I do! It's a wonderful hidden gem! I love Foremans... couldn't possibly have left that one out haha 🍺🍺
Worked in Nottingham for seven years... Just up from Canalside there used to be The Narrowboat... A quality rock pub in its time!! Pool table, pinball machine and live music upstairs every weekend... Oh, and a quality jukebox!! 👌🙂
I would love to have seen that!
Great video. I have been in so many of the pubs you visited, all good places to drink.
Thank you brother! We love our hometown
I have fond memories of Milton’s in Vic centre…always got served in there at 15!
The Tap was my favourite, always popped in from Rock City when a band who I didn't fancy was playing during Firefest.
Wonderful Vlog,,,loved it..When I first started drinking in Nottingham City Centre there was literally a pub every 25 yards..It was claimed that there were more pubs in Nottingham City than any other City.Sadly,so many now gone..Being a rock fan my fave is the Tap & Tumbler, just a stones throw from Rock City…My Dad loved The Old Corner Pin,and when that closed Langtrey’s became his local.🍻
I think I rememebr The Corner Pin!! 🍺
Enjoyed this video
thanks bud
Great video. I live in St Ann's Notts and would have added a few other pubs.
Just up the road from the Cross Keys there is a small alleyway and there is a pub now called The Kilpin, Good food and beer. Next to that is Junkyard with an ever changing range of craft beers.
The last pub I would have gone in is by the side of the train station but can't remember the name of it. Nice little micro pub,
I live in Notts bud. Sneinton to be exact haha. Love Junkyard and Kilpin... one by the station was closed at the time I did it (BeerHeadz) but has just reopened under the name Brew Tavern
