I had a lot of old pipes and rebar to cut up and from what I read ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxPDBfLu68o58Aw85O_J-zIFfjJARBhp-3 this would be the tool for the job. Since I had never used one, I watched a couple of youtube videos and I'm so glad I did. Some really good safety tips, which I followed, and this tool did a splendid job. One good thing to know is the weight of the tool puts just about the right amount of pressure on the metal I was cutting, so I didn't have to use a lot of pressure, which is more likely to jam the tool. It made fast work of my job.
Your work on this cutting tool has inspired me to build my own been working on it now for a couple weekends I will try get some video of my progress and post it to my channel, I used diffent materials because they were affordable, I don't know about where you live but here in Florida u.s. steel is insanely high priced

if you add vertical adjustment for the angle grinder (by modifying the ends of the horizontal support rectangular profile, i.e) I think this is a very good and practical design.Thanks for the idea !

In my opinion only one side of the table is useful and with some modification to move angle grinder vertically you can keep using this tool for small discs too. Very nice work bro.!

Becasue I need to cut long thin parallel strips of Aluminium. May be pushing the metal through a saw table is too risky and I should clamp the metal and have a moving grinder as you do. I built a simple saw table with the angle grinder mounted underneath yesterday. The grinder blade is spinning away from the side I push the part in. I completed it and used it for the first time today. I built it using 18mm MDF. I designed the table "on the fly", with room for (1) access to grinder switch underneath, although I switch at the wall, and (2) blade release for blade change. It is very effective, and necessarily robust. So far I have only tried cutting 4mm thick aluminium plate into 10mm wide strips. With my design blade change is easy. I can now make aluminium strips easily and accurately. Glad I built it, making these strips is now much easier. Thanks for the inspiration :) I will post up basic video if I get a moment.
Many thanks for your comment I’m so happy to share. Well, the bearings I used diameter 8mm in, 25mm out but you can use anyway as you want with bolt and the pipe 4*4 and the bed 120cm*60cm. It help me do a lot of work, Lathe, Chop Saw Cutting Steel, Belt Grinder, and Drill Press and now I'm planning to make a milling machine so I just upgraded cutting edge slider to slash cut. ua-cam.com/video/kNsmNVKk6dM/v-deo.html. 1 bolt is not enough. The tool is traumatic and needs the best fixation. When biting the disk, the angle grinder will try to run into the material, and the bolt will not be strong enough to bend and will bend. In this design, cutting material is possible strictly from left to right. Otherwise, a crash may occur associated with the angle grinder running into the material when biting. The angle grinder's leash is too short, which does not allow the use of a small disc. But in general, even such a design is better than sawing sheets without a mechanism.

The reason you dont see these commercially is because these things will kill you when they are on a swivel like that. Its brilliant and basic but extremely dangerous set up this way
