Thanks for sharing. Just learning step by step. Sorry, my homemade lathe work is not from school it is my hobby during the the hardest time CovI'd 19. A lot of problems behind the show because I have seen professional lathes often. My homemade lathe is made from scratch metal mostly because I'm not living in the town and the tools and equipment over expensive. What does Hiwin mean? It took almost 2ys because I needed other work, diameter 60mm of the spindle. I knew, I should use VFD for the motor but over expensive. Thanks

@@mr.ranyhomemade2466 HIWIN is a brand of linear guides. Those with rails and carriages. They use ball bearings and runs super smoothly. Very nice solution. I already changed one set of dovetails to those linear guides in my DIY milling machine.

Well, it slowly works especially setting change gears is not good at all because I found it is not the same time so many times had changed.at my place, no gears were found. Now it works after resale and is great to make thread
