I am so ready for the post-Riensdorf era. This man is living in another era and has no desire to enter the 21st century. He's reliant on feeding false hope to fans because that's been his MO his entire time as owner. This team will go nowhere if it is never willing to spend big money on free agents to supplement a home-grown core and he knows this. Jerry seems to only be able to hire people that he's directly worked with in the past. He's got mad trust issues and in my opinion treats this fanbase with a ton of disrespect. Can't wait till he's gone. All those championships should come with an asterisk because he's given these fanbases more misery than glory. He's squandered any opportunity to grow and expand upon some of the incredible teams he's lucked into.

Wait to see how bad SS Paul DeJong will be. He is a career .192 batter and got cut by 3 teams in one year which should be a record in MLB. 🤣 The Sox are gonna regret not re-signing TA in free agency for a reasonable $5M.

I’ve been a die-hard White Sox fan for 27 years, but the last few years I’ve been asking myself “Why do I keep living and dying for this garbage organization?” It’s not this year’s team…every team has highs and lows. It’s the organization, which is a joke. Their MLB team sucks, as do all 4 of their minors teams. They really only have one good prospect, who they are about to throw to the wolves even though he’s not ready for the big leagues. When Jerry Reinsdorf announced at the press conference when he introduced Chris Getz, “I’m too old for a rebuild to take very long, so I hired the best guy we had in the building”, that’s when I made the very painful decision to bail. Their ownership sucks, the stadium experience is awful for families, their talent evaluation is unbelievably bad. My family and friends all say I can’t pull it off but after a few weeks, it’s frankly very refreshing to not care about the Sox anymore. I can watch a podcast like this and find it humorous as opposed to infuriating. go Cardinals!

The white Sox need to move to Nashville. Chicago is so ineptly run that it’s nearly impossible to do business there.
Cubs are successful because of the location in Chicago and obviously the historic legacy and stadium.

I really don’t have a problem with the quote. White Sox fans, do you like the team? Weren’t we bitching all year that this team has no heart? No leadership? I hate this team. I hate the roster. A few pieces of gold in a pile of garbage. Eloy is a goof. TA had personal issues all season and isn’t a likeable person, Robert is great but still doesn’t have the leadership intangible, Cease and Kopech are soft mentally. So what the hell are we complaining about? That he wasn’t sincere before? Tare it all down, roster wise
No long time fan likes the make up of this team. But you mention Kopech, and I haven't any idea why he hasn't been groomed as the closer. He's perfect for it, just like Gossage was back in the 70s. He doesn't have the arm stamina anymore to be a starter, but he could be a dominant closer. Cease is a quality starter and will be traded to a contender like the Dodgers or Orioles. A team that can send a high quality catching prospect back in return, along with other good pieces to build on. It just comes down to decision making, and so far...as of today...I think Getz might know what he's doing. Time will tell.
