Rockstar was their secondary debut title, with Tricky House being their "true" debut, but they took Tricky House on the road pre-debut and performed when they went on tour as openers for their big brothers. By the time they debuted with it, they had it down to a science and they were able to perform it like seasoned veterans. Also recommend Xikey, but there's no official video for it. Maybe a full album listen, since they only have the one, having only debuted 3 months ago! Glad you enjoyed them!
For a debut group, they're setting the bar way high. Eden-ary is behind their album, and ofc Hongjoong is involved in all songs too. So proud of this KQ family!
Musically I really love their debut album! Theres so many cool and unexpected things. Xikers are a bit more rap-orianted than their big brothers, Ateez but their vocalists a solid as well. They are great dancers and i cant wait to see where they go next with their goblin concept. A really bright future for this young group!
Hongjoong had a hand in writing/composing/producing their whole album along with the rest of Eden-ery, and their leader Minjae reminds me a lot of Hongjoong, it's very clear that they are KQ through and through. You should definitely check out the whole album at some point, but Rockstar also has an MV, so that might be a good next song to check out.
I would hazard a guess that a lot of foreigners are getting educated because of reactions to this video... those of us who are foreign but understand a bit because of dramas and watching Korean reaction channels, we're definitely making comments elsewhere so more people will have a better understanding of what's going on. They carry the concept forward into the "Rockstar" MV, which is absolutely amazing but also a totally different sound (which I think is likely something to expect of KQ in general), so I'd love to see you guys react to that MV and also a live performance of "Xikey" (at the very least -- those two are my favorites off the album).
Their Rockstar MV is really great too, but I'm a huge fan of Xikey. You should watch a live performance--they might as well have "Trained at KQ" tattooed across their forehead--it's hard to believe they're rookies. 😊 ATEEZ dropped a new album recently. I hope you'll add it to your list. The MV is amazing and the song is fun.
Of the xikers songs I really like Xikey. This song was a lot of fun. The song was inspired by traditional Indian music. Their performance IQ is already off the charts.
gaaahhh!! The way I am gagged! I've been hoping you would find these guys! Allot of their catalogue is heavily produced by Hongjoon. I learned that they opened for Ateez on occasions and so it makes sense that their dance is already so seasoned. This is me humbly begging that you check out their dance practice for this song!! (the lil camera shakeys) I watch it a few times a week! oh my gosh I'd love to see your reaction to ROCKSTARS !!! (it's so hard😭) but GEEK is also a sush a BOP! (their pre-debut as KQ Fellas 2 ) thank you handsome sausages for reacting to this new group !!! ♡
Oh hell yeah!! Happy to see Xikers on your channel, they've become one of my new obsessions since their debut lol. I would recommend checking out Rockstar next since it also has an MV and has some of the dokkaebi theme in it too. Their whole debut album is AMAZING though, it's on constant repeat for me. Even their intro track is probably my fave intros I've heard in kpop thus far (and it's been many years).
Their whole album is absolute 🔥! I love their Korean goblin concept and as with anything kq their follow through on concept is absolutely flawless. Can't wait to see your further reactions to this amazing group 😊
Awesome reaction and thank you for talking the gobling lore. I noticed there is goblin flames in skz thunderous mv too. Would be interested in hearing more about goblin lore.
One of my favorite things of your channel, First of allll are you guys explaining the sound, breaking down the music But I really love that you always explain Korean lure and all the meanings of the Korean culture, I love it so much!!!! NON of the other reaction channels I watch, never explain it...even if the are Korean! ----> THANK YOU!
@@kazza3282 why not? Why cant i? Why you care? The fact that they use the same concept and effect. And Its common in K-Pop. I just find the similarity...just chill
WE NEED MORE XIKERS - Which song should we react to next?!

ROCKSTAR, for sure! Xikey is good too, but Rockstar is my favorite. You guys would also really love Seventeen!
Rockstar and Xikey are reallyyyyyyy good songs from Xikers!!!!!
XIKEYYYY its such a good song
Rockstar is the only other MV they have and it's great, but my favorite on the album is actually Doorbell Ringing
For a debut group, they're setting the bar way high. Eden-ary is behind their album, and ofc Hongjoong is involved in all songs too. So proud of this KQ family!
All the album: Xikey, rockstar, doorbell ringing, oh My gosh
Xikey is awesome. It was produced by HongJoong of Ateez.
Co-produced, wasn't it?
@@kazza3282 I believe so with the Edenary team. If I’m not mistaken he wrote the chorus. He spoke about it on idol radio

Thank you for explaining about the goblins! I knew a little bit about them from Stray Kids' Thunderous, but you went into a lot of detail about it.
The blue flame you had that in one of Stray kids MV Thunderous. I learned about that with this MV.
Oh My Gosh and Xikey have been on constant replay in my head since they debuted. The entire mini album is fire from start to finish.
Of the xikers songs I really like Xikey.
This song was a lot of fun. The song was inspired by traditional Indian music.

I feel some latino vibes too . Great song , the bass really hit hard.
Yay Xikers! They are honestly so good. I am so impressed with their debut album. Please react to rockstar next.
@2:17 Koreans have hairy subways??? This sounds so cool😂

You guys explaining goblins really helped me understand the music video more! Super helpful! XIKERS debut was just AMAZING! ❤ ROADY
Definitely Xikey next

Talking about 흥, please react to The Real 흥 version by Ateez?🥺 It has Korean instruments and elements and the music video is so much fun!!!
SHANTI SHANTI YEAH YEAH YEAH
Incredible
yechan is hongjoong's son
ATEEZ Bouncy when !!👀
I'm surprised they haven't reacted to it, seeing how much they like Ateez.
i want full album reaction
@@kazza3282same, i wonder why
It's comin ;)
Rockstar please 👍
If you like the traditional music elements, you should look at The Real by ATEEZ. I think Koreans would have a different appreciation for it truuuust
Goblin concept like StrayKids on Thunderous
It's part of Korean mythology, so not exclusive to Stray Kids.
@@kazza3282 relax...Its not that deep, you can see the effect they use, kinda similar to the goblin concept that skz use. But Its okay...
@@bangchanbang5859 Then why did you even mention it?
