The two members you noticed were: the insane rapper (and dancer) aka Yechan the maknae and all rounder extraordinaire, this kid is a powerhouse in a band that is filled with great talents. Ok so:
The Korean word used in the song and album is actually Dokkaebi (Goblin), which in their folklore, are mischievous sprites that delight in chaos and trickery, but can also fun and benevolent. The blue spirits throughout the MV is them, and you see how they split the train and also appear as if by magic in some places
In the MV they choose the old man to play with them (jinsik is the one who puts the headphones on him). The music is like a spell of sorts and the more he lets them play with him, they will give him things he's been missing through fun at the arcade, getting money from the atm to go play with the Ferrari
In essence they're inviting all of us to come play and in return they will show us good times and gift us with their performance
The Dokkaebi were also present in Stray Kids "Thunderous".
Two of xikers members are originally Pledis trainees, Seeun--the one who spin kick you rewatched and Hunter--the one with the striped pants. The one in the green pants whose dance you liked at the end is their leader, Minjae. Their rapline is the strongest I've seen in a long while and of course being from KQ their dancing is top tier.
Their MV for Rockstar comes out Monday, so if you wait, your album reaction can include the Rockstar MV. They are such good performers--you definitely need to check out their lives.
Alright so, the storyline that I’ve gotten so far is that they are Dokkaebi, which is the Korean word for Goblin. The song title translated in Korean is actually Goblins house. But they’re also utilizing the tricky part as an added element to the story and characterization. In Korean mythology. Goblins are seen as nature spirits who can either be helpful or a hindrance to the people they encounter. Typically the story goes a goblin will pick a human to play with. And if you’re nice enough to them you’ll get rewarded. But if you’re not well then… good luck. So the MV is essentially the boys picking this old guy to play with and it’s like you said they were helping him relive his childhood and what made life fun before adulthood obviously dragged him down. And as he continues to “play” with them. They give him things. The money from the atm. The car. Things that he wanted or needed. At the end you see the 10 broom sticks because apparently, goblins in Korean culture as spirits utilize inanimate objects and are usually associated with either brooms or bats. The blue glowing orbs also represent blue flames which is their spirit form.
