lol, tenor sax here, i mean i can’t be mad, trying out jazz isn’t easy because you gotta learn to put all your emotion in not only the music, but also the performance. He had a good effort tho
Used to play jazz bass and just drifted away into other genres but for the bass line it lacked any kinda color to it which I guess happens if you're using a synth. The best part of the bass to me in jazz is the warm embrace that feels like a fire, whether that be a cozy fireplace or a raging inferno, there's always that warmth there that was really missing with that patch along with not enough swing as well. But it was a good attempt at the hardest genre by far of the 4.
The BPM is too high for hardstyle typically, but more notably you didn't pitch the kicks. Static bassline on top of the actual melody haven't been a thing since pre-2009. NimbleKick is your friend for pitching them while keeping the Tok (transient) intact. What you've made now is more harddrop than hardstyle.
Rawstyle does tend to get to that tempo though, even though 180 is usually hardcore techno tempo. Still honestly leagues better than I expected talenti to do.
Love these videos! Keep'em coming. Game of thrones hardstyle has some real potential, but the lack of pitching the kick to play along with the melody turned my stomach upside down. :D
also hardstyle is usually 145-160bpm, but the modern stuff is mostly around the 155-160 range. 180 is more of a hardcore tempo :) edit: lmao at least i didn't say technically... 😅 but honestly nice first track, would love for you to try and make a kick yourself, that could be fun

As a hardstyle fan, melody wise nailed it. Tempo is a bit well too fast for hardstyle but since ilike the older brother hardcore to same degree, it sounds great still so its more hardcore then hardstyle but whatever sounds good
