I assure you as an adopted child. It's about knowing. I never felt like I belonged. Knowing I was adopted was constant in my mind. In my 40's I took a DNA test and found my biological parents. It was mixed feelings. I was so thankful I was adopted but sad about the outcome. I guess when you don't know where you come from it's about fitting in somewhere. Not knowing and not feeling I belong caused me relationship issues throughout my life. I think it's the thought you must be so bad that your own parents didn't want you. Again it's not knowing. Not getting close to anyone so you aren't abandoned.
Has Simon considered doing a DNA with King Charles' cousins or relatives. That will be a good start. Just suggesting.

There is no respect at any point of this saga. They waited to save their image as they knew the public would not tolerate them marrying so soon. According to the Royal Marriage Act of the 1700's, which the royals followed, Diana had to die so that Charles could marry Camilla. " If the former spouse of the heir to the throne is still alive, the heir cannot remarry." It's not rocket science folks. Put it together. This big scandal is not new. He's asked Charles to do a DNA test several time, but of course Charles will not co-operate; again, to save the image of the monarchy.
I really don’t see where charles could even look at the mistress; Lady Diana is more attractive than the mistress. When Lady Diana would walk into a room everyone knew they were sharing space with a special person of royalty.

Being that Charles and Camila arrived in Australia today, maybe they will visit him and tell him the truth or at least provide DNA so they can all put this to rest. If Charles is dying from cancer he might just want to meet him before he dies. Wouldn't that be wonderful if he is their son. Imagine the peace of heart it would give him after searching for his real parents his whole life.

The man can make all the claims he wants. If he was legally placed out for adoption, he was relinquished, no strings attached. As an adult, he's owed nothing by anyone. C&C clearly did not want him around.

All it needs is his own DNA. His DNA will trace back to the Royal Family if he is really related. No need for King Charles to submit his DNA specimen.

When you are adopted, you are not art of the biological family. You belong to your adopted family. Even so you can’t be part of the Royal family because you were illegitimate. You can be part of crown.

I don't know why Simon doesn't try to contact Prince Harry, at best Harry 's contempt for his family will give him the DNA. At worst Harry will use it as blackmail to regain his working Royal status. Either way both scenarios would insinuate they are definitely hiding the truth about Simon.

Seems to me there shouldn't be much trouble to find distant cousins of both Charles and Camilla who would be willing to donate DNA for comparisons.
