- We finally get to test out how fast this s300 Duramax is! On the last video of us trying this, things didn’t go as planned. We had some major fuel leaks almost instantly within the first few rips and didn’t get to really test out much. I had finally got it to stay together enough to do some good solid rips and burnouts! THIS TRUCK IS AN ANIMAL! I really like the s300 turbo and if you want to know how to do it to your LB7, I have a video on my channel of the full install and everything I needed to complete it! Thanks for the support on watching the video(s) make sure to subscribe! #duramax #cummins #lb7 #powerstroke #s300 #builtnotbought
Nice reg cab.Get a fleece tap shifter or bd tap shifter better for burnouts and roll racing it helps with spool. put one in my 03 lb7 back in the day. I got a 1013rwhp fuel only crewcab that weighs 6500lbs deweighted. She got a s480/87/1.25 on her with aftermarket heads. Bunch of other stuffff.
The duramax content is great 👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you!
Still seems to be happy 👌
Is the transmission built? I have an LLY with a vgt turbo that is about toast, and I am considering an S300 swap. My transmission is stock and hasn't had any issues with the 30 over injectors and tunes, but would the S369 be pushing it? My 68mm stock turbo won't stop surging even at really low boost. I pressure tested it, and no leaks, but the surging sound is getting worse every time I drive it!
It's about the same month for a RDS drop-in, but I'm still on the fence.
Thanks for the comment! Yes it’s a built trans and I would say if you run it on big tune with as much boost as it makes, you’d definitely limp the trans. Makes a lot more boost than my rds 68 did. But a s300 is a night and day difference over a drop in turbo and you’ll be happy you went with it.
The fuel through the ficm is used for cooling
A lot of ppl run it dry daily driving it . Won’t hurt it . Move it where it gets air
What ya do with the little block on passenger side intake that has a schrader valve and hose coming from fuel filter ? U plug it or delete
I by-passed that entire unit so fuel no longer flows through that Schrader valve at all.
Gotcha instead of taking it off u just left it on there gotcha . I was making sure it wouldn’t affect anything even if u bypassed it with it still on
whats the transmission setup?
Full Billet, triple disc goerend converter, Dimitri trans 800hp clutches
You should definitely get a line lock 🔐
Hey good minds think alike! Haha line lock installation will be in the next video preparing for UCC 💪
What kind of boost are you seeing out of the turbo?
I just hooked up a manual gauge and haven’t tested it out yet to see its full potential. I will be having another video out after I send the trans out, comparing the s300 to a s400 and the boost we can push out of both. Should be a sweet video! Stay tuned
@@SlapDi.KSpeedShop just curious, having a problem with my lb7, custom drop in with big s300 internals, 100 overs and dual fueler setup and truck is just lazy and only makes 35, tuner is goin crazy trying to figure it out
@@kylesmits3418 man I had that same problem almost and my truck would just cloud out an entire interstate trying to drive it normal, then my brand new drop in 68mm turbo exploded soon after and once I did a s300 swap even with the 68mm tunes in it, completely changed how it was acting and fixed all those problems. As long as you’ve got solid data logs and your tuner cant see anything wrong then it might be something along those lines. But from what I’ve heard there’s a lot of tuners that have trouble tuning for dual fueler set ups.
Do u let off when going through gears or what
No
letting it eat? eat what? you mean rippin shit?
Something like that lol
@@SlapDi.KSpeedShop im just buggin haha sweet truck
Why you shifting it like if it makes a difference 😂let it shift itself 🤦🏻♂️
Why not let it shift itself instead of you fucking with the gears
