I never understood why knowing that other people feel the same way, have the same problem, etc. is comforting to people.

Strangely I find this song mildly uplifting in a way. Why? Because while they're all worried that they aren't cut out for their roles in life, the thing is...they *all* have those same anxieties. So in a way, their anxieties are unfounded, because *nobody* has it together.

As a kid. This is exactly how I saw adults. My views around this never changed. A lot of people are just labeling themselves as "adult" and are obsessed with appearing as such. Its hilarious for me to see older people struggle like that when they can obviously still be a grown up and enjoy their childhood part. You dont have to up and abandon aspects of your character because you need to "grow up". There are good and bad aspects of every growth phase. Cherish the ones that make you a better person and take them with you to the end.

I feel pain and wonder and that’s ok. It’s the genuine honesty, clear expression, and perfectly grand artistic creation that made this hit my heart strings with the same impact life itself strikes me with. It’s what art is created for. It’s therapeutic for everyone to see this and smile while they process real emotions. With the right awareness people see this and it brings out their positive nature in its truest form. Just look at the comments. This has made people stronger and healthier even if by a little bit of heartfelt conversations online or just the urge to share it forward. I struggle with a lot but I’m still here and I’m still me. We see his talent and we also see a healthy amount of our own thoughts and tendencies in Kevin. If he can tangle with these thoughts and turn them into purified color and empower his heart to make this then we can find our own strength through the same process but in our own unique way. I’m a better person because of this video even if it’s just by a little bit. Maybe my decisions will reflect that if I stay on track with my life. Thank you so much and I hope you have many fun moments of an energized and sustaining life.

Things that I feel worried about, going "I don't think anybody else quite understands" and having it said back to me and realizing how goofy the idea is, is quite uplifting.

If you're living a 9-5 dead end job and resonate with this song...
Just know it's not your fault, probably.
Being an adult is hard sometimes but even though the animation portrays not being good at something, clearly it's an amazing display of 3D models, textures, lighting and fluid animation.
Meaning even though you're hard on yourself, you might be really good at something, that someone else can respect.

How can you make something so full of life yet make everything it in look dead inside?
That is a balance that is hard to perfect, and you nailed it on the top of the head, middle of the body, and everything hurts.

Kevin Temmer is a really fun lyricist. I really like the rhythm in some of his lines, like: "I've had years to perfect the profession of being alive" and "thats a complicated question that dissects the burden of capitalism the flaws in our system society's prison but what can you do about it ?" from q&a song.
Love this stuff, pls make more jamming songs

*After the end, we cut to the bedroom of our protagonist, Bob Bobertson Bobbington the Bob, getting up and getting ready for work as the only person in this world who enjoys working and will be the one to teach the world the moral of the movie. “Working a 9-5, 7 days a week, 365 days a year is the best thing ever!”, and everyone goes with it before ending the movie with an obligatory dance party*

As fun as existential crises are, I feel like I've thought about it so long that I'm comfortable with who and what I am. No, I'm not my best me yet, and whether I'm comfortable imagining death changes on a day to day basis... but neither of those things are bad.
Best wishes to everyone out there! And to the creator of this: absolutely fantastic music video.

It's a game of musical chairs, where if you don't find a chair everyone points and laughs. They say things like, "just get a chair, everyone else has one!", but there are not enough chairs for everyone.
It is this way because there are individuals hoarding chairs.

    Lyrics:
Somebody else start living my life
    They’d do a better job
Somebody helm my living for I’ve
    Been reckless and a slob
I’ve had years to perfect the profession of being alive (woah)
But I’m steering in every direction can someone else drive? (woah!)
I’ve had time to assess and I’m not quite the best for this role
Is it fine to confess I’m not outright impressed with my soul?
So teach me how to be a human being!
I’ve had every chance to grow
    Every chance to know
    That I’m not good x3
    At this at all
    *baby vocalizing* yeah sing it
    (Yeah x6)
Somebody else start living my life
    They’d do a better job
Somebody helm my living for I’ve
    Been reckless and a slob
It take all of my effort to stay on the path and persist
But with what I’ve got left I’ve been meaning to ask
    Why do I exist?
(Amazing song yet again! Thank you for blessing us with your epic content)
