Honestly the first thing you do when you get a animal is to tag the animal, that's hunting 101. Anyone who claims they forgot is 99.9% of the time lying. LOL
Law needs to be changed, animal crosses boundary injured, contact game warden, he then puts the animal out of its misery, that does not sit well with me.

So I don’t hunt, but how long can you leave a deer in the back of your truck until it goes bad
depends on how hot it is outside my friend. The hotter it is the less time you got.
We let beef hang 14 days in a cooler. Deer can also.
Up here in Canada, you could field dress it, and let it freeze solid in the back of your truck because it’s -30 to -40 every day, and thaw it and butcher it a month later if you had to. (Not ideal)
Personally we hang ours in a controlled environment for 24-72 hours and butcher it at a convenient time.
The officer was soliciting a
trespass starting at time stamp , 24:05 the land owner has to trespass a trespasser and given them the chance to leave, and then if they come back , then it's chargeable trespass.
Whats wrong with people?! No one is required by law to answer their door when police show up to it. Also do not have to assist them in their investigation or talk to them in anyway. Just don’t !
People are ignorant of their rights. And game wardens aren't exactly Constitutional. Neither are police. And neither are 99% of the laws. And 100% of "game laws." It's all a criminal enterprise masking as public service.
A game warden does not need probable cause to come in your house.
