There's a second Karl Pilkington travel show called The Moaning of Life that I highly recommend watching if you haven't already, it came out a couple years after An Idiot Abroad and is Karl travelling the world to figure out the meaning of life by meeting up with people from different cultures and participating in their various local traditions
I thought *Karl* was an act when I first started watching the show about their podcast *The Ricky Gervais Show* (I'm glad to hear you've seen it) Love to see your Big Beautiful Smile because many of the vids you watch aren't funny but educational
If it was an act it would be up there with Andy Kaufman and Tony Clifton. It's one of the most well known things Ricky and Steve did together and people have been asking for more for years but Karl has always turned it down, which would be odd if it was an act.
Recommended my favourite band, The Smashing Pumpkins. They were my first ever gig when I was 13 and have loved them for 20 years! Today is a song that means so much to me, and that album, Siamese Dream is utter perfection. Listen to Mayonnaise from them if you want all the feels, and my favourite song, Thirty-Three from their Melan Collie and the Infinite Sadness album (Melancholy is intentionally spelled that way btw) l. It is quite a forlorn song but it's beautiful and the music video is amazing.
I'm loving the fact that you love the XFM shows as well, I play them on a daily basis just to make me laugh while I'm gaming. Your smile is beautiful as well. :)
Enjoyed both versions of Wolf Like Me, reminded me slightly of The Fall. There's a one-off show Karl did that's about half an hour long, called Satisfied Fool. He takes a Mensa I.Q. test, then meets with writers and scientists to explore the correlation between happiness, or unhappiness, and intelligence.
Karl is 100% himself with all his English ways. Ricky really loves him, but his greatest joy in life seems to be winding him up. And Karl never fails to crack him up.

One of the funniest things I have ever seen is from Ricky's show "Life's too short". It's a bit where actor Warwick Davis, you know him from Season 2 of "An idiot abroad", brainstorms with his assistant about finding other sources of income. Also, if you haven't seen anything from that show, look for the scene with Liam Neeson.
Great reaction as usual. Question, where are the background paintings from? Is the newest addition a Basquiat print or an inspired painting, it looks awesome.Keep up the great work ❤.
What type of music do you like? Smashing pumpkins is cool, seen them live once. He forgot the lyrics to a song, so he walked a circle playing so,e random tune, and said "If you forget, that i forgot, we'll try this again" and he did. that was a fun concert, Rotterdam i think
It feels to me insightful into Ricky gervais’ writing style. I can imagine derek and extras growing out of the same roleplay. Stephen merchant definitely brings a welcome dimension to their stylings, though.
This guy and Jordan Schlansky from Conan are the two dude where i simply CANNOT TELL if it is THEM or a persona or a blend of the two.
