What's incredible is that these puppets are built to be light and movable, but they are imbued with such graceful movement. Going back to 1993, I wonder if Spielberg would have used this style of puppetry for JP (originally wanted full size Dinosaurs).

I thought there was something where amusement park dinosaurs were different than the animatronics made for the films. I forgot, but I think they said that in a behind the scenes for the Jurassic Park ride.

FigmentOfYourImagination Yeah they said the King Kong was essentially a lightweight inflatable. So I think they were concerned about durability and strength, especially when tearing parts off the car. But I think now they would have opted for a lightweight puppet and worked around that, so use lightweight parts on the vehicle etc

The puppetry created by Creature Technology is simply awe inspiring. I went to see their WWD show both times when it toured in my country, totally worth seeing. It even inspired me to start experimenting on puppet mechanisms of my own. Would totally love this kind of career.

So, so cool! Walking With Dinosaurs Arena Show and the Jurassic franchise are a match made in heaven. Hope to see them partner up in the Universal Studios parks in the future.

Amazing technology... I didn't catch the Walking with Dinosaurs when it was near my country years ago... I still regret it

It's interesting that they're gonna incorporate Animatronics into Jurassic World 2, this time around.

I knew they used the T-Rex form Walking With Dinosaurs. I would have expected them to make the JP Rex or use the one from Stan Winston School
