hi, i'm alana! i'm a 24 year-old content creator who loves watching anime and movies/tv shows. aside from uploading reaction content, find me streaming on twitch 3 days a week! / alanamisako
the finale will be up on thursday! and then both movies will be coming to youtube - the 2020 movie will be posted next week, and then the 2019 movie will be posted the week after :)
Wait isnt better to upload 2019 first?
@@durango3063 i watched the 2020 movie first so im uploading that one first. i didn’t know i had to watch them in order til i finished the 2020 movie lmao
Oh ok then 😂
@@durango3063 in terms of plot, the 2020 ver is the continuation from the series itself while the 2019 is like a side story. either way, both movies are splendid!
@@Skyuni98 yea i gues its not a big deal
Once u watch the movies, you'll realize why Dietfried is like that. Like u said, it's complex but he adores his brother so much. Losing Gilbert is like losing a part of himself, that's why he's so bitter.
I feel like they didn't give enough screentime to deitfrieds motives.
He comes across as evil when he's really just ignorant of the situation and has an antagonistic personality.
@@Greasy__Bear Agreed. When he made his “with the same hands” comment, I thought it was just ironic that they literally weren’t the same hands. I saw this over a dozen times before I realized it meant he didn’t know about her arms.
On top of all that he’s a war captain he’s got demons hell always have them and no one can’t fault him for that
I dont think dietfried knew voilet lost her arms.
I think he gave her to gilbert hoping she would protect him, but when she came back "unscathed" and with gilbert dead, he blamed her for not protecting him.
He even seems to have started to think that his brother died to protect violet.
Its onlh after violet sacrifices her mechanical arms to save deitfried that he realized he was wrong on all counts.
I think when she comes to ask if Gilbert died, Dietfried thinks that means she wasn’t even around when it happened and never bothered to find out.
"One more episode left" - and 2 movies.
More like 3 episodes left.
I feel bad for Diethard but, instead of dealing with his emotions like Violet (the unfeeling tool of war as he puts it), he's just decided to hate the world and focus all his bitterness on her. He has my sympathy, but he's still pretty much an a-hole.
This series is written so well.
I like Dietfried (I had to google that btw)😂 He’s a good character and someone who lost his little brother that’s tough no matter what he must feel like there wasn’t anything he could do to save his little brother on top of all that he’s a war captain he’s seen some shit I always feel bad for war vets they can’t be faulted for the way they act if they’re lucky enough to comeback
4:19 there was one more character with those prosthetic arm
I can't wait for your reaction to the movie!
Please do watch the movie version after this series
I don't like that Gilbert's brother and Hodgins put blame on Violet for taking lives in war when she was all brainwashed and broken without the ability to make those choices on her own, as a child.
Day 78 of requesting Alana to watch Plastic Memories
YAY🥹
FIRST!
First Comment hehe...
Are you recording the 2019 movie first or the 2020 movie first? Just wondering because apparently you should watch the 2019 movie first from what I've seen online.
