Wattson is by far one of the most rewarding legends to play if you're willing to put the time in and develop the skills and playstyle to make her kit work. For some she will never be their style and personally my top three legends for kills are Wraith Horizon and Path, but I spent an entire ranked split on her ages ago and put a few 100 hours into her doing the pub star thing.
What happens is that she grows on you and the fencing and gen dropping become second nature. For me those Wattson sessions just started to be a refreshing change of pace and it's super satisfying to catch people with fences in zipline buildings and on door traps. The gen can be the clutch you never knew you were missing in certain situations, and dropping a Nessie on some sweaty players you just schooled for not taking you seriously never gets old!
I actually really agree I just started using her this weekend and she’s really satisfying to use cause not many use her either so it’s just different and she’s really enjoyable to play imo
Honestly the number 1 buff wattson needs is to NOT BE STUNNED BY OTHER WATTSON FENCES.
It drives me crazy when she has a line that says "my suit is insulated, you're not"😂😂😂
Caustic and catalyst don't get affected by the enemy counterparts with their own abilities, so why not WATSOOOONN 😭😭😭😂😂😂

teammates also shouldn’t affect her fences going down. I cant tell you how many times I would’ve clutched had my teammates not been sitting on it- LITERALLY pisses me off 😭

I've always thoughts wattsons passive shield regen should match octaves health regen. The passive shield regen is hardly noticeable
I very rarely see these players say this. Record your gameplay... Record a couple hours of it and when you have time sit down and watch it. Take notes on your most common mistakes and smart enemy plays that you can learn from then systematically work on each one. Easy tips can help but this works best imo for faster improvement.

Keep in mind this is the number 1 wattson on most kills. Most kills doesn't determine skill. I love both neo and Lamic. I relate to neo more since I play on controller for pc too
I have a 3' 5(ADS)' sens. Recently switched to 4' 5(ADS)' genuinely huge as a Wattson main. Everything is a lot faster. Feels great.
Q: what is the best way of quickly holding down a building without running out of nodes & having to wait a long cooldown with no gen?
A: node collecting. You can pick up your own nodes for when you need to fence again, including right after stunning someone. It allows you to infinitely aggressively fence. Be aggressive with the fences and don't passively rely on 1 fence behind a door to hold a building for you. Utilize node placement for fence tricks, and long range fences

I run a 5 dead zone 5 response 130/85 ads. Definitely agree, classic isn't responsive enough and liner is too twitchy unless really close up. Nasty beams on 5 response curve imo

One tip I learned, don't wait for the enemy to try and kick your door down; crack them, or force them to have to hold the door to heal, then shock them

hes not wrong about linear being kind of bad on console compared to pc, because i play linear on pc and eventually go back to my console account and for some reason linear on 60fps motion messes with the sens just doesn't feel smooth

you might want to consider changing the title to something like "#1 Ranked for Kills: Wattson" or something like that because most of the people that you cover for these are not that good and are nowhere close to "#1", they simply farm pub kills and play 12+ hours a day.
everyone knows that Lamic999 is the #1 wattson mechanics/gameplay wise... kinda weird saying someone with higher numbers is better than someone who is actually better.

I mean, when referring to number 1s im pretty sure everyone is talking about legit leaderboard grinders. Like #1 pred, #1 for s15 kills, #1 kills overall, etc. Lamic might be the best wattson on PC but id never say number 1 as hes never held that spot.

I think the heirloom is really bad but the inspect animations carry it. Another object with the same animations would make it top tier. The spinning and this almost falling out of her hands fits so well to a fast playstyle.
