I was in the British forces for this match last night and it looks like we've got you to thank for winning, because it sure had nothing to do with me😄- I had the Jungle carbine and I could not, for the life of me hit the side of a barn with it. Hopefully I'll have better luck when I log in tonight. Great vid by the way!
Great video! Thanks for not complaining about every little thing in the new update like most of the big HLL youtubers. It was refreshing to watch some genuine gameplay that showcases the map and how it can be used properly by either side. Not to mention the top notch SL action!
as a fairbairn owner, the letter opener comment had me chuckling. finesse boys, we couldn't all run in swinging like the yanks with a shortsword of a knife!
I’ve enjoyed my time on this map. The open terrain forces some more considerate offensive movement. More on this, I wonder how hard it can be to push certain points given movement constraints. They might form bottle necks. On terrain again, it can be pretty easy to encircle some points given the raised terrain. Having squads defending positions away from the circle might be extra crucial. Especially when the terrain serves to hide movement with the large hills and rocky mesa-like environment. On that note, playing as a tanker can be great but risky. The ridges are prefect, a good squad (German) can rain hellfire on points and tanks. However good coordination and teamwork is needed. Being so exposed you might have to be ready to move ASAP if your spotter isn’t looking 360 24/7, and the terrain can hide tanks and infantry in low points. On that last point, ambushes can be frequent due to the outfit camo and terrain. Infantry can pop out of any rock if you aren’t able to watch and shoot at every sufficient angle of approach. Oh and British tanks suck holy shit, the British sights on some guns are ehhhh, and airdrops or airheads might be easily noticeable but hide-able. One last note, a nighttime version would be sick for this map.
Personally I love the map's layout and aesthetic, other than actual bugs I think people are complaining way out of proportion, sure the Bren needs a bipod, yeah the Firefly could use some better balancing, maybe runspeed to 10% instead of 15%. I like the Brits and their guns otherwise, plus everyone's complaining about desert uniforms but no one said a peep about all the desert camo applied to vehicles!
I suppose I didn't include every order I made. I try to edit these videos to be about 10 minutes and this is what I figured most would want to see. So when you condense like 30 min to 1.5 hrs to 10 minutes, you may miss those things.
@@commandercrane1945 I understand but it comes of more like a Alpine Sniper video, I mean maybe the majority wants to see it but there is nothing in this video that made it feel like a squad leader role - mostly just sniping people which is nice, but the title feels miss leading - but you are probably right that not many would wanna see how it is to actually command.
My super zoom is actually just video editing so you all can see it better. I get no extra zoom in the real game (and have to shoot at dots). I try to make it not seem like it is video editing for looks, so I can see the confusion. :D

It’s not just you if the enemy isn’t close I really struggle with that rifle.
I find that it's also a problem that often the enemies are about 4 pixels tall on my 1080p monitor, so I can't distinguish them if they're not moving

Thank you. I don't complain much, I think things will be okay once they iron it out some more. I'm just happy to get new content.

Didn’t like this map at first, but after a few games I really like fighting for control of the high ground, it encourages defence to be active.
That Arty was glorious
Great video as always, many thanks.
Glad you liked it
Love these vids. Would appreciate more explanation as to what you are doing and why as a noob

nice streak you had there with the enfield

How is the SMLE? well it's a bolt action that chambers the British .303 round & magazine accommodates 10 rounds not 5.
Saturate that area w field artillery salvos. God damnit
Looks like a round of marksmanship and artillery usage, not really leading anything from what it looks like :/

@@DeadLikeMeJ I'll keep this in mind for when I do a SL video again.
