    Awesome vid and technique. Has a dog ever decided to initiate this play/exercise when you weren't wearing the guards? If so, then what to do?

    I have a really dumb question... I have watched a few different trainers & noticed what sounds like a different language being used for certain words. What is the language & why use it vs English? Again, dumb question, so I apologize.

    What kind of harness would you suggest for bite training ?

    • @johncspine2787
      @johncspine2787 4 місяці тому

      That was a nice harness..some shops call them “agitation” harnesses or collars..

    What’s the point of this to win in sport? Certainly not anything else? Not really for real life. Interesting video though.

      Yes it is training for the protection exercises in the French Ring Dog Sport. Not for personal protection 👍🏻

      @@marinocanecorso6328 I specify in the video that this is designed for the French Ring dog sport.

      Seems like when commanded to, the dog would have enough flexibility to do that “in real life.” Even if the bite work isn’t as generalized as in personal protection, dogs are tremendously smart and adaptable. Plus, they read situations and intent well, and let’s face it..biting is a very natural behavior in the first place..we spend an awful lot of time in the puppy phase teaching them not to..
