I agree with you. My hair is lose in the front and tighter in the back. Yes!!! Yes!!! Your hair type should not matter. Hair grows everyday. Black and all types of hair is beautiful. I notice since I have been natural there is a lot of stereotyping about hair. I know for me I always had long hair growing up in Trinidad and Tobago. I think some black people are not use to seeing women of color with long hair. of hair. And sometimes instead of giving you a compliment. It's more negative than positive.

I am thankful to God for bringing you to my attention. I've been natural for the past 8+ years by accident. Being the only chocolate chip in the cookie dough growing up, my mother kept it straightened because of being the only black girl in the community. It grew, but not very long. Following the way you do hair gave me hope for my hair. I've been trying to stick with 2 or 3 of the channels. Yours by far for me is the best. It's been about 6 months when I subscribed to your channel and have never regretted it. My hair on the top was beginning to thin, panic city!!!! Now, I use the oils and how to handle my hair and it has grown about 1 1/2 inches in the past few months. I've learned to embrace and make aloe vera my "best friend". You have been such a blessing to me. I love your down to earth style. And I was dancing for joy when you hit the viewer "upgrade". I love to see a sister and her family thrive and be successful. You are a joy to watch. So beautiful inside as well outside. Keep on keeping on. Love you sis.

I agree with everything you said. A lot of Black women believe that it’s impossible to have long hair because of what they were shown/ told. Some people have asked me did I have on a wig or weave added to my hair because of how thick my hair is. It’s not that long but because of how thick it is, they ask “is that all your hair” and then they follow up with “I wish my hair was that thick” and I always say “you don’t know what you’re asking for” lol because thick hair is a lot harder to deal with. My hands be Hurt and Tired from doing my hair.

I even noticed younger black girls around my area with their natural hair out and I just felt sooo proud of them and encouraged by them also. So glad to watch this today. My daughter has so many different textures to her her. She has shrinking hair just like me so sometimes she can get upset once it’s washed it just shrinks. We are on journey and God willing we will get there. Thank you for your advice. God bless you.

I love your video they are really helpful still confused about the hair type thing. I get it to people would ask me the same if I'm mixed like it's the only way to get long hair. I had problems with dry scalp and your videos really helped.....keep it up girl.
