Thank you so much for this. I love Vital. Have been exploring it for 6 months now and your tutorials have taught me so much!!!
Awesome to hear, Vital is the perfect starting point for learning how a synth works. 😎 Keep up the learning🙌🏻
What a way to get an ePiano/Rode sound haha But I thoroughly enjoyed the video! :)
Gotta to look for a source of music in everything 😂🙂
Isn't that cool ? Thank you so much for all you videos. Always interesting to have tips and tricks relative to Vital. Plus, it gives us fresh ideas and help us to create new sounds. Thank you for this and for all the effort because we know it takes a lot of time to prepare the vids.
The ULTIMATE Cat Sneezenator Video.... Yeahhh...
That's something I did not think I would read today 😎😂
@@demishellen haha, lol...
Some nice little tips here. Also, after seeing your FX chain on this one, I'd be interested to see a video of you discussing and comparing the outcomes of ordering the FX differently (maybe using an oscilloscope). I usually apply most things BEFORE reverb, but audibly there's often not a huge difference between say distortion then reverb or vice versa. I'm curious how different the waveforms are or what subtle differences I might not be noticing.
Hi Demis, do you do 1-1 lessons ?
Really wish you could've gone more into detail about wavetables, rather than using a single wavecycle for the patch. On that matter: did you know you could apply a high pass directly onto the waveform in the wavetable editor? That way, you can get rid of rumble, without dealing with the headroom or phase issues associated with applying a highpass post-generation
Creating a wavetable is some we can expand on but would have made for too much info in video. It was just for a bit of fun to do something different with my teaching.
The highpass is definitely and option in the oscillator shaping tool but I preferred the filter and EQ options in this case. 😎
Just come to your channel nice info. Where can I get your vital skin for I can't see it on your site.
The skins are available to Patrons on all tiers. There are plenty of other bit and bobs too that are not available anywhere else.
Is this granular synthesis?
No more subtractive synthesis than anything. I have a few granular synthesis videos here on the channel though
What is that Vital skin you are using?
This skin is exclusive to Patron supporters. Plus there is loads of other stuff to grab too😎
How do you make vital look like that?
This skin is exclusive to Patron supporters. Plus there is loads of other stuff to grab too😎
Vital is amazing but I feel like I need to drop everything and spend a year just to learn it all.
Learn the basics in chunks. You don't have to drop everything to learn it. Keep working at it 😎
Yeah, it definitely won't take that long. Between this channel and Dash Glitch (& maybe a few things from In The Mix), I've learned a lot & made some awesome presets. Just follow along to videos, & try using those tricks later on again.
@danatello8489 I really like the freedom and creativity it offers. I might have to force myself use it and nothing else for a few tracks I am working and maybe it helps me level up.
@@djchemie That might be a good way to go. I actually have to remind myself to use the other synths, from FL and NI, that I actually paid money for rather than just go straight to Vital. But that's largely from having learned it so well that I can quickly get the sound I want from it.
@danatello8489 yeah pretty much the same here. I have Vacuum Pro, Loom and Moog Minimoog as my goto. Not to mention bunch of other VSTs like Hype, TubeSynth etc. But I like the freedom Vital offers.
