- Kayaking the river Coquet in Warkworth in Northumberland just a short drive from Amble,beautiful little stretch of water very popular with paddle boarders,paddled up the river stopped off for some lunch the back down the river ,scenery was lovely and got the chance to see a Heron up close and take flight,brilliant day out with jutta.

24.09 is a old old ford ya standing on and stay to the right hand side carry yak past the water works plant not a far walk few minutes then ya next weir is a bit deeper ya missed the hermits hermitage hand carved cave opposite were the boat is moored 👍

Haha you pronounce coquet as cokett and warkworth is walk worth ffs had me I’ll laughing , this me n the bairns back garden ya in 😉 we were ower there last wk end with the yak we’re only at broomhill got the bus down paddled up to morwick and walked yem from there the coquet is shallow in places a leave me skeg off for there the weirs ya can plodge ower tons a cracking spots to hammock up river n tell the macham wanders to get a yak ha way lads 😉 Liam
😂😂😂 Aye mate it was a hard one to pronounce 😂😂didn't know the history of it and definitely didn't know you could walk by the waterworks onto the river we went up to kayak and look for potential camp spots but not many on the stretch we were on, you reckon there some after the water works have to have a wee look when we are up the next time we were there last Saturday got out the car looking for the ticket machine only to be told its free result😂😂😂 thanks for the info next time we are up ill give you a shout, thanks for watching mate take care atb crash😁🏴
