- This band is from Malmö, Sweden and also one of the first bands to play this type of music from Sweden following shortly behind Bathory and Mefisto.
This demo was originally self-released on cassette somewhere in December, 1986,
released on vinyl limited to 500 copies in 1997 and as a compilation in 1998 called "Damnations Pride" not too be confused with their demo.
This is for promotional use only.
I do not own this and all rights go to the artists.
Enjoy..
1. Across the Holocaust 0:00
2. Excursion to Eternity 3:29
3. Spiritual Entity 6:33
4. Celestial Conquest 10:42
5. The Condemnation 14:19
6. Unblessed Domain 16:47
I got thid demo though my tape trading days. They always seemed very mysterious.
You can definitely see how this would influence Swedish death metal
Holy Hades, this is awesome. Thank you for finding and posting this gem of prime 1980s thrash meets death meets black metal.
Perfectly raw and produced at the same time. Very aggressive all the way around.
Many horns up to the band and the person who has this on UA-cam.
DEMO MUY APRECIADO EN MONTERREY MX. ENTRE MUCHOS OTROS QUE LLEGARON Y SE INTERCAMBIARON CON FANS DE EUROPA, ASIA Y AMÉRICA A FINALES DE LOS 80'S. SALUDOS.
A Swedish gem!
Youre a Swedish gem!
I always thought this one was better than Damnation's Pride. More gritty and obscure.
I agree with you my friend.
As it should be...scuffyer the better!
The second track intro is raging!
Clásico OBSCURITY

Better, raw, honest like Mayhem.

I get kinda a amebix type vibe.. something like if you took amebix and hellhammer and mashed em together you'd get this
Not a lot of people realize how much FWBM took from Hardcore, and how much Crust took from FWBM.
Doom, Amebix, Misery, Hellbastard, all those early Stenchcore 80s UK bands were incorporating Hellhammer and CF into their sound. Bathory, whom created one of the first blackcore albums, were playing literal UK82 riffs in their first album. Celtic Frost and Hellhammer were also incorporating a lot of D-Beat influence; people think CF riffs derived from Thrash, but in reality they're D-Beat derived. They were sorta Proto-Blackcore, but nobody really wants to admit that or call them that.
@@SaintCareCompliance In Sweden D-beat and Käng goes hand in hand with most people who listen to raw metal still to this day. There was never any doubting.
@@SaintCareCompliance "Bathory ... were playing literal UK82 riffs in their first album" -- would you mind giving me some examples?
@@KolaKrauze Check out the song "Two Montrous Nuclear Stockpiles" by Discharge. Not exact riffs but very similar styles. ua-cam.com/video/PvOmBGykDTM/v-deo.html
@@jas31937 Excellent, thank you! k.
This Fucking slaps why can’t we have bands like this in 2022
People have shit music taste. At least people like us know where the true shit is at.
kids weak from smartphones and drag queen story telling.
Because today's kids use terms like "this slaps"
As you will learn all the best things are in the past
I assure you there’s 3 bands playing off time rough black metal in their basements in almost every major city. Whether or not they’ll ever record or you’d ever hear it is another matter entirely
Where is the intro piano from ? I heard it on the radio just now
F. Chopin - Sonata No. 2 in B-flat minor, Op. 35 ( Marche funèbre )
It's familiar cause that's the undertaker's theme
Ovations to Death, Damnations Pride... brutal death metal...
