Max Linder, acteur et réalisateur du cinéma muet. Le 1er grand du cinéma burlesque, bien avant Charlie Chaplin et Buster Keaton. Il a instauré un genre, et un personnage : le dandy Max.
Une des premières grandes stars du cinéma(si ce n'est La première) qui reste inconnue aujourd'hui.
What a beautiful man, Max Linder. I am so happy to have found these films as I have never heard of him before. I love the silent films. This one has been restored exquisitely. Very sad ending for Mr. Linder. RIP Max Linder.
I am honored to share in the experience of watching Max Linder. He is truly a cinematic gem whose revival is long over due.

tu veux te la péter ou quoi?!..tu as l'air de dire qu'il n'y a que toi qui le connais..tu aurais employé le mot méconnu cela aurait été plus juste car seuls les initiés peuvent en parler..et puis,est ce que cela t'aurais étouffé de préciser qu'il était francais ainsi qu'il a grandement contribué à l'essor de la carrière de chaplin puisque tu cite celui ci??!...
