    Wow... 47+ minutes, but that was probably the most thorough review I have seen. Great job Chris! While I don't need this much capability on a daily bases, it nice to know it's there. Funny, capability is like having 4-wheel drive... when you need it, you wish you had it, right?! Plus, besides the Ram Power Wagon, these things look absolutely AWESOME!

    I would imagine one of the best parts about driving this would be that when people see you in their rearview mirror, they get out of the way quick. On the freeway, you're basically as high up as semis giving you a very commanding driving position to see traffic ahead. I don't really have a need for an f250 whatsoever, but I think it'd be cool to own one of these for a little while just to get that driving experience.

    Power deployable running boards are the future. It should be made standard on every pick-up.

    This is a cool configuration, but the best/most capable by FAR (for all of the 2017/18 f-series pickups) is the regular cab long bed 4WD XLT w/ the 6.7 power stroke of course.
    If we're applying that logic to the 2018 F-150, it'd be the reworked 3.5 ecoboost and 10 speed auto, would love to see a video on one of those trucks. Pure value, capability packed proposition right there. Also the power to weight ratio is insane for a truck. Go ahead if you want and look up those builds, the f150 in the spec i mentioned has a payload of over 3,400 pounds, 13,100lb towing capacity. Insanity, then ofcourse it's around 4,100lbs for the f250. Not one channel has highlighted that discrepency, If you're reading this chris amos: You know what to do! lol

    76000 $ ? I phink because it's a big (truck) pick-up, and the engine is amazing 6, 7 V8 diesel with a very good sound and power... The prestige is money.

    Should have done color match grill and bumpers and the two town paint job like the old king ranch trucks.

  • @danmurphy1994
    @danmurphy1994 6 років тому

    Chris the regular cab long bed can be had with the highest 4.10 axle ratio, 6.7 diesel 925lb ft and 460 hp or so.. XLT in that specification weighs over a thousand pounds less than your loaded example and will hit 60 in around 5.7-5.8 seconds, if you don't believe it then well go find one like that and see for yourself 😂 I didnt believe it at first either though

    I like the 4th gen/2017-22 Super Duty, but with all the emissions and sensors and such, it's sorta difficult to want a diesel unless you're willing to spend the time and money to do the deletes and such. Overall, I think in my opinion, Ford makes some kickass heavy dog trucks that can be both good and/or bad depending.

    Boost by gear is really noticeable. 60-80 seems much stronger than 40-60. I wish Ford would devote more resources for developing more supple suspensions without sacrificing durability. These are effectively luxury trucks now and it seems kind of silly to have all of this interior comfort when you're bouncing around on choppy pavement.

    good morning my friend was very nice video you made I know you had something to do with the engine this beautiful Ford vehicle I've been driving Ford F-150 F-250 for fast 14 years I absolutely love it the only concern that I have the price it is extremely high they need to come down a little bit on the price and the fuel efficient they need to start saving on big vehicle and also compared to Dodge Ram or even Chevy Ford when you put on the bed heavyweight a go all the way down then to fix that that's my some of the concern for first 14 years driving the vehicle I also have 2017 F-150 right now and I am planning to buy 2018 F250 for my business but unfortunately stream the high price and Ford also need to see some of the most expensive vehicle they create all other many Factory who driver is small business owner not big CEO so they have to look up there for us as a consumer thank you

    NO pick up truck regardless of the make is worth 75-80k absolutely out of control.But everyone keeps buying them so they keep running the prices thru the roof.Should only be a cpl more years before the 100k mark hits.

      The 2019 f450 limited fully optioned is around 93k, wouldnt be surprised if the upcoming ram or gmc 3500 dually top trim level trucks surpass that next year and hit the 6 figure mark.

    • @jakes5530
      @jakes5530 5 років тому +2

      What? They're built to take a beating -- really theyre made to tow 15,000-30,000 pounds at high altitude through mountainous highways -- and keep up perfectly fine with the flow of traffic. That's where this truck really shines. They're built to be able to do that every single day for 20+ years. Doing acceleration runs and cornering (arguably) too quickly isn't beating on this whatsoever.

      Zachary Bornhoft not really I've been looking at some and they have the same materials and looks inside of a BMW or Porsche but you can still tow over 18000 pounds so it's a luxury truck I see why the price is so expensive

    • @zacharybornhoft8081
      @zacharybornhoft8081 7 років тому +1

      JON_VII you pay for an all around well built vehicle I agree with that, but when you can buy a used one in the 3-5 year old and 40,000-100,000 mile range for HALF the price of it brand new it seems like a no brainer. For me at least.
      I would say only get a truck new if you need it custom built, like my friend did for his landscaping company

      Ringo Gingo you won’t find any new truck for 30000. This is a fully loaded diesel truck. You can drop the king ranch package and diesel and get them in the 50’s.
      Diesels will hold the value the best and longevity is unmatched. Fuel consumption is better in diesel let alone the tremendous torque.

      albert7139 - it is a ford, but a high quality ford. It has leather seats and there's definitely leather in the dash, diesel trucks are also more costly than petrol, and that goes for any truck. It has a good design and it is a heavy duty, 76k is a reasonable price for this vehicle. And if we're going by those standards, why is there a 70k hyundai?
