We have salt pool with a PURECHLOR system. I'm getting a system error code and 1 blue light lit. I don't know the name of this piece but it's before the salt cell, in its own clear case looks like a stone but it was packed with calcium. First what is this and secondly could this be my code issue?
Have you tried cleaning the filter? It also may be time to replace the filter cartridge.. to test it you can remove the cartridge filter and close it back up without the filter and run it for about 15 minutes to see if it clears it. Please let me know!
@@Bryanllanes27 Hi I'm still researching I will let you know when I have good insight! I know if the cell is more than 5 years old it may be time! Next time you have your pool water tested or test it yourself let me know what the stabilizer or cya reading is.

Any idea where I can get the correct cap?
How can I get the air pocket out of the cell?
What’s the thread size on the cap ?

Hi, I have cleaned the cell and the check cell light is still on. What do I do to take the light off.

I changed the filter two days ago. It’s brand new. I just cleaned the cell today.
@@PoolCareWorld I hope that the cell has not gone bad. I saw the price to replace them and it’s like $800 dollars.

Any video on how to clean a “power clean salt cell” ?
I got you! I don’t have any on route but I’ll ask around if anyone else does 👍🏻
@@PoolCareWorld thank you. People say they are simple and quick to clean without muratic acid involved. I guess I’m assuming the opposite

Never breathe muriatic acid, no matter how stoned you are.
