Bro's, you'll love his "Cinnamon Girl" and "The Needle and the Damage Done"!!
Agreed. Love that song.
Oh God yeah. Needle and the Damage Done is spectacular.
Ew@@Eowyn187 e
I was just going to recommend The Needle & the Damage Done too. He has so many great songs.
I was a young man when I first heard this and now I could be that old man---there arn't words to describe the import of that reality.
This song makes me cry! “ I need someone to love me the whole day through” thank you guys!! Beautiful!! He is a story teller!
Waaah need more of Neil s Electric no this boring song.....way better albums than Harvest
@@DENVEROUTDOORMAN This is NOT a "boring song" and acoustic guitar is perfect for this song, It makes me sad that you think so poorly about this song, I think it's BEAUTIFUL, in fact it's my favorite Neil Young song.
@@DENVEROUTDOORMAN
Pay no attention to denveroutdoorman he's NOT a true Neil Young fan.
This song is so good. Two people at very different stages of their lives, yet very much alike. Both alone. Both here on this ranch. Goes to show everyone we are far more alike than we are different no matter the circumstances. As you said, we all are ultimately striving for someone to love us the whole day through.
That crowd got a real treat, he sang that before it was actually released in the United States.
Neil Young is a hero to small, independent farmers. Back in the 1980s, so many small farms were being overwhelmed by mortgage debt and were declaring bankruptcy at an alarming rate. This led to a spike in suicides and all other manner of awful things, not the least of which huge corporations swooped in and bought their land for pennies on the dollar. Neil Young, Willie Nelson, and John (Cougar) Mellencamp organized the first Farm Aid concert in 1985 and they are an annual event to this day. The next one is in September 2022 in Raleigh, North Carolina USA. He's helped raise over $64M USD to help farmers out.
Such an amazing performance! And to think he was only 24 when he wrote this. That acoustic guitar sounds so beautiful. Great choice guys! 🌺✌️
"Twenty-four and there's so much more." ~ Love that line, Debbie!
Guys, also check out, "The Needle and the Damage Done", it's also very powerful.
Nope an okay song way way overplayed on reaction channels stop the wimpy accoustic and do his rock
@@DENVEROUTDOORMAN
Neil Young Born To Rock on acoustic guitar.
I love Neil Young on acoustic guitar.
"Needle and the Damage Done
So good.
Neil Young "Only Love Can Break Your Heart"
...Nuff Said.
That one line: It doesn't mean that much to mean that much to you. Is like a stake thru your heart.
Another vote for "NEEDLE" I know Neal, used to roadie for Crazyhorse. The most beautiful place ,right above Redwood City,Cali.
His voice is so unique and kind of haunting.
One of my favorite singers!!❤
Agree a beautiful story teller. Neil Young is amazing.
Great song. Neil Young is a fantastic lyricist.
You are so right!
I have been to a dozen Neil young shows and he is so so good. 23,000 people silent, you could hear a pin drop. Soulful poet for sure.
You’ve gotta react to Neil Young’s song, Southern Man. Powerful , powerful song.
To perform like this in front of a live audience in an intimate setting such as this shows the tremendous talent that he has. The performance was simply beautiful on many levels.
Nope need his live electric stop the wimpy acoustic
@@DENVEROUTDOORMAN
Neil Young Born To Rock on acoustic guitar.
You don't see Neil's songs being reacted to nearly often enough. Really enjoyed this guys, and it was clear you both did too. More Neil please!
Problem is too many reactors just do the wimpy acoustic crap not enough do his Rock which way better....Bet the Brothers regret this song nowheres near as good as Down By The River which they already reviewed

Neil Young Born To Rock on acoustic guitar.
It's amazing what beautiful music one guy with a guitar can make.
Not much more can be said of Neil young ,legend ,great reaction lads,
You should check out his duo with Jimmy Fallon on the tonight show! They sing this song and Jimmy plays a younger version of Neil. It's called the two Neal Youngs
Just a splendid performance here wonderful. I know you guys will love it love you
You could see the greatness of Neil Young very early in his career. he is a one of a kind musician.
In fifty years, you will still remember this song and his voice.
One of the true masters, his catalog is so deep with so many incredible songs. Definitely keep going with Neil, he won't disappoint! Great video!
I was also 24 when I first heard this song. 74 now. Beautiful song, great writer and singer Neil.
Great reaction… thank u guys! Yes… “Needle and the damage done” and “cinnamon girl”…. You will definitely love those songs! It’s obvious that you both appreciate music for what it is. Not everything has to be hard rock…. And there aren’t always transitions. Some songs are just pure gold! ❤️
neil young got my mum through the death of her father when she was 18
Such an impactful song. The raw emotion and simple melody make this song stand out. His vocal tones are like butter. Smooth and just enchanting. Just beautiful.
Such a unique, beautiful, and haunting voice.
He touches your soul.
Canadian hero!!!
One of the giants.
Thank you Canada for another icon.
He still lives on that RANCH❤😊😊
Neil Young, “Needle And The Damage Done“
GREAT CHOICE...! Love this song.!
The Godfather of Grunge 🖤
Neil Young - Needle And The Damage Done [Unplugged]
Back when we had a "record player", I played this album so many times, it turned white. And so did the 2nd one I bought.
it just doesnt get much better than this
Just a man and his guitar. Amazing.
''Harvest Moon'' is a must and his prettiest song.
I remember when Neal did open air concerts he would often say "this song is for the tree people." How considerate because he knew there were many people in the trees as a way of listening to him.
Great guitar solo in his Cowgirl In The Sand. I also vote for Needle and the damage done.
Nope Souther Man or Carry On from 4 way street time for the big man music

I’m with you Bros 100% on that particular point.. I truly wish that more of us 🇺🇸s were willing to see things that same way.. politicians bs and divide us, artists inspire and unite us - IF we’re open minded. 🤔😀
"HEART OF GOLD" From the same show, is another Great one...!
They've already reacted to Heart of Gold from this show - cheers!
@@annemaclean6634 I can't keep up with who's done what.... lol
@@2869may No problem Nick, I was just browsing the comments and thought I'm sure they've reacted to Heart of Gold! Just for interest, they've also reacted to Down by the River and Harvest Moon - all the best.
No need to say much. One of the greatest songs ever, performed by one of the greatest artists ever. End of.
People may hate his politics...but we all know...he's right. The hippies were right about everything.
"Doesn't mean that much to me, to mean that much to you" - One of the great lines in rock history.
Thanks, gentlemen…
masterpiece by a Master
Neil Young is a genius, is a giant of music!
I get major goosebumps every single time I hear this song!
Awesome great reaction!!
Pure talent. Not sure where it's gone, but I don't hear anyone recording it anymore.
Half a century ago I bought an old 8-track player off a mate.. It was already obsolete as cassettes were taking over the world. But he threw in a cartridge of the Harvest album which featured this song. As it played on a continuous loop, you could say it was the stuff of dreams as I slumbered through the night.
This live acoustic version is so beautiful, and it’s 50 years ago
Great song!
Another commenter mentioned "Needle and the Damage Done." Astounding emotion.
How are you guys not as big as other reaction channels?!?! You guys are freaking awesome! Love how stoked and enthusiastic you both are about these classic records
Studio version is great as well!
Such a thoughtful genuine reaction. Very heart felt and articulate. You can't fake that. You guys really appreciate music. Whether you love it....or not....you give it the time of day to respect the artists work. Thank you. Very enjoyable watching with you both.
Now you know why we requested this song! Amazing singing, lyrics and a wonderful composition and guitar playing. Neil has a great talent to perfectly express himself through his songs and lyrics.
Nope not as good as many other of his songs
@@DENVEROUTDOORMAN

Yes...either from 4 way street or from David Steinberg show.....not the pathetic wimpy acoustic top 40

Neil Young Born To Rock on acoustic guitar. How bout you?
So beautiful! His voice just flows above the guitar. He is truly a poet! Neil Young's "Cowgirl in the Sand" and CSNY's iconic song "Ohio" are both amazing. Thanks guys!!
Great reaction…and I promise you I’m older than the old man that inspired him… respect to him, obviously. And to you gentlemen
A belter of a review guys, as we say in Scotland. Great job!
My friend and I went to see him in concert in 1972. How to explain the 70s? Cool.

Neil Young is an amazing singer song writer. he has some pretty hard rock later in his career. I grew up with Neil. Peace and Love from Canada
You will live this guys!!! His album was my first album ever!! After the Gold Rush !! Just love his voice, guitar playing and his lyrics!! He can rock out too!! This song is FIRE!
This is my FAVORITE Neil Young song, It's so beautiful. I LOVE Neil's voice, always have. When you hear him and can't see him, you know EXACTLY who it is, no one else sounds like Neil.
I love this performance but you’re missing the awesome steel guitar and the background harmonies in the studio. Still no complaints and more Neil please
I just loved your reaction to this song and it really sounds like you both appreciate music. New sub💜

Outstanding reaction and description by the BroActionDudes!!!!!!!!!! Thank you
So wise for only 24. My fav of his, it actually brings tears to my eyes every time I hear it is, "A man needs a maid". Neil gets in touch with his feminine side. Brilliant artist
I've decided to subscribe having enjoyed a few of your vids now. Why? Because I CAN!
No, it's really because I love your reactions - they're quite special - and because of your choice of songs to look at. I mean, "Old Man"! Fantastic.
Keep going lads :)
Wonderful reaction to this very special song. Neil is amazing.
I'm about to go find your reaction to Hear of Gold.
