Limited Edition Indian FTR 1200 R Carbon - Full Review

Indian Motorcycles have really come back strongly in the past decade and they pay homage to some of their golden years of the 50's and 60's when they were duking it out with Harley Davidson on the American Flat tracks.
In the current Indian range you get a model with the designation FTR, for Flat Track Racer. However in this episode I have the priveledge to test, ride and review the Limited Edition Flagship FTR, the FTR 1200 Carbon R. This stunning machine is when engineers and designers get together and design something exceptional that borders on art with the highest quality components.

You ride like I do. I’m 74 and need to slow down. I bought a 23 pan America s. I’m going to sell it and get an for. Pan America has a great motor, hard to ride under 100+mph though. Great review!

Brotha, this was great to watch Thank you very much. I have 13k miles on my 22FTR R Carbon Limited Edition #968. On my 4th back tire, truly a beast, just like you stated. What looks like the gas tank is actually the air intake covers. The gas tank is under the sear, helping to make it so nimble. Yes it does make me feel 30 years younger. I'm 52 years old. Thanks again for the smiles and hope you add it to your collection.😊

I own a 2022 Indian FTR 1200 R Carbon and just Love it….My only 2 beefs with it, gas ⛽️ tank too small and not enough lights….besides this, just Love my FTR, The Best and all the good looks I get all over the roads…

Another great review and perspective. This bike is one of a kind in my eyes. If you get the opportunity, it'd be great to see your comparison of the carbon VS the standard and how the 19 / 18 handles on the street like a more traditional flat trackers.

I just purchased a 2022 FTR R Carbon from my local Indian dealer last month and I've had nothing but smiles since. With the exception of a 2018 Tuono Factory, I've ridden nothing but sportbikes my entire adult life. I was riding with a friend who needed to stop by the dealer for a part and they were having a demo day. I've loved the look of this bike since day one but that weird tire size they put on the early bikes at the beginning turned me off. The sales guy asked if I wanted to test ride so I said why not and after about 5 minutes I knew I needed this bike. They gave me a good price for my 2021 ZX10R so I did it and have zero regrets.
