It's nothing to do with Camden, that would just be bizarre, why would one borough not have dryers? Most people in Britain do not own dryers. I'm from the UK and I never saw one in anyone's houses growing up. Also I live in Greece and people never have them here either.
I am a Missouri girl who just found your channel and might be studying in Canterbury this fall. About to watch all your videos!! Thank you for sharing everything!
ArielRenee21 ah how exciting!! I hope that works out for you studying abroad is an amazing experience ❤️. I’m so happy you found my channel and thank you for the comment! 🤗
Kirsten Hubbard awesome! I'll be sure to do that for you! I have a few videos in the works now but I'll have that done some time in July at the latest!!
I would have never guessed you were half Dominican! Very nice! Have you been to the island lately? I'm going to London in septembre for my masters. Thank you for the video, very helpful!
I loved the video! I'm totally freaking out about going on exchange to London in September - I don't know anyone going over there/anyone there at all, so do you have any tips about making friends? Thanks :)
ZoeTheScribbler are you going with any other students from your university? That helps! Otherwise just be active! Go to the park (the parks are poppin hahha), if you're 18 go to pubs that's a great place to meet people, it's fun yet casual enough you can have conversations with people! My advice is to just get out and put yourself out there. Do things you enjoy doing and you'll meet people there who enjoy it too! Hope that helps!
thank you so much! I think other students are going from my uni, but for some reason they didn't introduce us... I'll definitely give those a go, thanks :)
To study abroad in? I would have loved to be in a Spanish speaking country! I almost chose Barcelona but because they speak Catalan I didn't think my Spanish would greatly improve and Barcelona was my only Spanish option because of the program I chose. I would have liked to be somewhere like Madrid or Seville. If not Spain then somewhere in South America!
Yes, great choices! I LOVE Barcelona too, I think I'll go live there some day! The people is so down to Earth and kind, good vibes out there... I also dream to go to South America one day... Madrid is also a good choice, I've been there too (I've a video of this trip on my channel), very kind people! Anyway thank you for answering, and keep up! 😘
When you say you had to “pay off your phone” to AT&T in order to get it unlocked, do you mean you had to pay off the value of the physical phone? I’m going abroad for the spring and also have AT&T, but I just got a new phone and don’t think I can pay it off it the next week or so.
Cheyenne Marie yess you have the pay off the full value of the phone so you own it in order to unlock it. I was in the same boat! You could always get a cheap phone when you get to where you’re going though! A lot of people on my trip did that
Great video. Slight pronunciation correction. Shire by itself is pronounced "shire" but when on the end of a county name it is pronounced "sheer". So Devonshire becomes Devon-sheer and Oxfordshire becomes Oxford-sheer etc. Which also makes me wonder by London is pronounced Lun-dun. Wierd.
Larissa Zellmer yes love I am full Dominican born and raised actually :) and I’m going to be studying abroad in London next fall 💕 your videos are great and they’re helping me a lot 😊
Larissa Zellmer I think that's the scariest part moving to a foreign country and not knowing anyone! I'm thinking of doing study abroad and I'm stuck between London and somewhere else (although I've been to London before) and your video was very helpful! I also watched your video of breaking the rules of the underground which I found funny!
Natalia Andrea good I'm glad you found it helpful! I have another video coming this week about my favorite things to do in the city from my time abroad that you may find helpful! Where else are you choosing between? (And glad you liked the underground one lol)
Larissa Zellmer I'm not sure maybe Barcelona, I speak Spanish so it won't be that hard of a transition! And for sure I'll watch the next video lmk when it comes out!
From previous experiences... I would advice the students that would like to come here... RUN FAST....RUN FAR... Because London... and UK in general.. is one of the most student- unfriendly places that I've ever been.
London is great for sth like 6 months. Once you start noticing how arrogant and double faced people really are and how many stereotypes there are regarding ''politeness'' you just wanna run back home. You can do so many things but cannot enjoy one coz it's so busy..Plus Horrible weather..
"Spend your money on experiences not things..." Wise words.....
if not finding my favourite lotion and not having a dryer are the worst things to happen when moving abroad im actually very happy lol thanks
How did you find it?
This is the BEST study abroad video I've seen because you gave so much info! Thank you!
somedaydoctor abby thank you so much!! So happy it was helpful for you 🤗🤗
I just started making videos about my semester in London! I'm so glad I came across your channel!
I think not having a drying machine is a European thing
Natalia Andrea it is for Camden but most other places in London have dryers in their homes / apartments is what I gathered from my colleagues
Nope I live in Europe and most of us do : )
hammie-bunny good to know, thank you!

Many do have it, but to save electricity we only use it when necessary.

How did you find it?
This makes me so ready to move to England for the next 3 years ❤️
Kirsten Hubbard thank you I'm glad it did!! And I'm jealous, have so much fun!
Larissa Zellmer do you have anything fun recommendations for me? 😇
Yeah! When are you leaving? I was thinking about making a "Things To Do in London" video soon would that be helpful?
Larissa Zellmer I'm leaving September 17th. Yes!! That would be soooo helpful!!
Kirsten Hubbard awesome! I'll be sure to do that for you! I have a few videos in the works now but I'll have that done some time in July at the latest!!

I'm planning on doing aboard studying in London, but I'm currently a junior in hs and I'm so excited !!

You are going to have a great time! Congrats Kelsey!
what progrram u used it?
When you went to Athens and other places did you have to get a separate visa to travel outside of London or did you just need the student visa
Great! If you could choose any other city, what would it be?

Martha Donnelly thank you!! Have so much fun! London is a blast
I’m from Missouri and I’m thinking about studying aboard

Diana Romero ah how cool!! Thank you I’m so happy I can help! Have an amazing time in London ❤️
And you probably knew you were going to be living with people you didn't know
Natalia Andrea I did! Just adding to the fact that the situation was different. Most people on my trip knew and chose their roommates

Natalia Andrea ahhhh I love Barcelona. That'll be tough to decide between! And okay I will 🤗
Most Brits dont live in London. All foreigners in London
Wow this sounds so spoilt lol. I’m from London
Sophie Lee everyone is different :-)
From previous experiences... I would advice the students that would like to come here... RUN FAST....RUN FAR...
