Honey, I couldn't hear a word you said!! I don't think the music was all that loud, I just think you might have been a little too far away from the microphone. But, I love this project! I am all about abstract looking decor because I hate cookie cutter patterns that everyone else already has. I think I'm going to also try a much smaller version of this project with different shapes, as well (square, diamond, etc), for different rooms of the house just to add a little something different. The different sizes and colors of the circles is what makes this so beautiful and unique. There's really no way you can mess this up, ya know? And it's definitely a one of a kind piece. I can't wait to show it off, and tell all the girls I made it myself! Oh, and I came across this video while looking for DIY wall decor, and instantly clicked on it. I knew right away I needed to subscribe to your channel! Thank you! ❤ 💛 💜 💙
I just finished this tutorial..it took from Friday to Sunday to glue all the circles..it was long and tedious. As I'm writing this the paint is drying on all the circles. I went on line and found the original art piece and made all the circles according to that. But used this tutorials technic. I found that spraying the circles first with (I used Rust O leum) High Gloss white paint & primer, then spraying the circles Bronze, Gold, Silver, & black (for the black I use Lacquer black), they were super brillant. While this isn't a unique process, for this hack it works and looks great. Thanks girls, my circles are going to look lovely on the wall. Oh, one more thing...I'm using "Command Flat double sided tape" so as to not pull the paint off my walls when I decide to change out art pieces.
I thought this was a video showing how you recreated a designer wall decor piece for less. And it is! I saw what I needed to see and heard what I needed to hear. So I, for one would have no trouble following your inspiration. Beautiful job and spot on! 👍🏿
Talk about a *WOW Factor!* You knocked this outta the park, Sista. This fun, inexpensive and relatively easy project is definitely on my summer crafts list 'cause I got a big (*really* big) ol' blank wall begging to be decorated. Love your Cross ring--I have a similar one. Blessings!💕
I’d like to try this and I’m thinking of adding circle mirrors to the centers then going around with the rope. Or maybe it wold be best to cut out the centers and make circular rope frames for the mirrors. That way I wouldn’t have to worry about covering the mirrors while spray painting. Thank you for this video!
Just a super quick tip for anyone looking to do this, the dollar store actually sells woven circle placemats that are perfect for this diy. So much less work and they come in tons of colours so there may not even be a need to spray paint, I picked up different neutral tones I spent maybe 10$ at most on recreating
Great tip! This was when Dollar Tree didn’t have nearly as much items as they have now. Stay tuned there’s another video coming up similar to this one 😉
I've been looking for an easy way Deco diy for my daughter's new townhome, and this is it!!! She's not super crafty do this will be great for her! (FYI you can always go back and narrate over your video so that we can hear your instructions better OR lower the volume of the music and increase the video volume) 🙂
Lisa Lisa well I have to say...since she is speaking and it is hard to hear her over the music, I don’t see it as so much a complaint, more of making her aware of it so the next video will be even better. I think the purpose of her speaking during the video was to be heard, otherwise why even speak? 🤷🏾♀️
