Did this last night to my kitchen faucet for the first time in 2 years. First of all, I was disgusted. Second of all, It worked amazing! This will be a routine part of my weekly cleaning for sure!
Excellent, am glad you got it done. That area of the faucet is so easily missed when cleaning because the faucet is alway facing down. One has to be intentional about cleaning it for sure 😊.
Now imagine how nasty the inside is tho it needs to be replaced looking like that Lowes or home depot sells replacement for a reason it was cleaned just for looks 🤢🤦♂️
I just watched a video about a whole family constantly getting sick. They called in a plumber, who found an absolutely disgusting aerator. It almost looked like worms growing on the inside. That was the source. He suggested bleach, but I prefer the vinegar solution. And knowing to wash it monthly is a real savior. Thanks for the video. You may have saved people from gettick sick.
Oh wow! Im glad this family found the source of the problem and got it solved. That part of the faucet is easily missed when cleaning because i'ts always facing down. I'ts good that you know and clean yours 👏🏽. I like vinegar too because its safe and get the job done. Thank you for sharing the story, hopefully many people will know they have to clean under their faucet. 😊
I just cleaned mine with vinegar and was totally disgusted. It soaked for 2 hours but still had gross things coming out, so so add lime to the vinegar and more stuff came out 😵💫
I did this for a different reason, but it’s nice that it came out nice and clean anyway. My sink sprayer was not working properly and upon looking it up on the Internet, It said probably hard water deposits so your video solved two problems! #1 it unclogged my sink sprayer and #2 it made everything more sanitary. Thank you for your video. By the way, I am now a new subscriber.💖
Great video, short and to the point. I'm having the same issue so I'm about to go put bags of vinegar on all my faucets and shower heads! I can't wait to see the before and after in the morning! Thanks again 😄👍
@@TheCleanLoft WOW 😲 ! So this morning I got up excited to see the results and you weren't kidding. All the heads are brand new looking. Hey Friends, to avoid hard water build up on your kitchen or bathroom faucet I suggest you clean under the faucet at least once a month with just a brush and dish soap so as to avoid any dirt or hard water build up. Thank you for tuning in 😊

Awe, you are welcome here 🥳🤩💃🏽🎊. Thank you so much for the support, I appreciate. Yes that works on bathroom faucets too. Just don't use it on black matte finish because vinegar will dull the finish.
Hey Alexis, I did try your suggestion and it worked 😀 mine came off too. It actually makes it easy to clean because now I only put the affected part in a small bowl with vinegar. Thanks for sharing 😊.
No you cannot use vinegar on mable/granite because vinegar is acidic and will etch or dull those surfaces. Am still on the look out for the product to use and I will do a video once I get it.
Vinegar is great for cleaning calcium deposits and generally cleaning any dirt. I also use vinegar to clean the burners on the stove. Just let it sit in the vinegar for half an hour or more and then scrape it with a knife or something hard.
I agree, vinegar is great for cleaning a lot of things. I also use it to make DIY glass cleaner and shower door cleaner etc. Thanks for the visit and for the tip as well. 😊
Thanks I did it and it took off a lot of dirt! The only problem is I washed it off and my faucet still smells like white vinegar and also I need it for my britta filter so I’m trying to make sure it’s good enough to filter, any thoughts?
Hey @BlondeJesus, thank you for tuning in. Am glad this trick worked on your faucet. The vinegar smell will go away, it wont stay for good. As for the Britta filter, I have not cleaned it with vinegar. If you do please let me know the outcome. 😊
Hi @D.N. For the faucet you use to fetch water for cooking or drinking, use white vinegar. This is because cleaning vinegar is too strong and is not recommended for consumption.
Where do you find such a great cleaning brush? It seems all the brushes I see in the stores have longer looser bristles and have large heads which make it difficult to scrub smaller spaces like between faucet handles.
@@TheCleanLoft It took a little elbow grease but ultimately, the vinegar did help. I guess it’d been a while. I just moved into a rental and the faucet was disgusting. Thanks for the video!
