Great Day in COZUMEL with ParoDeeJay (Carnival Mardi Gras Cruise)

- It is our first port day on our Carnival Mardi Gras cruise and we are in beautiful Cozumel! And we have some friends with us... Dee and Jay from ParoDeeJay. What are our plans? Well, after we take a thousand pictures in port, we jump in a taxi and head to Occidental Cozumel Allegro. This is an All-Inclusive resort where you can fly over and spend time, but we are here on a day pass.
It is a beautiful resort and we are having perfect, but very hot, weather! Blue sky with fluffy white clouds... perfect! The water looks very inviting but beware of the rocks! You really need water shoes here and, of course, ours are on the ship! So after bobbing around for a while, we head to the pools. The resort serves lunch beachside and the food was pretty good... the shredded pork was really good! After lunch, we move to the adults-only pool and pretty much had it to ourselves for the rest of the day.
It was a great day with some great friends!

Looks like a fun time! We enjoyed Chankanaab there in Cozumel a lot but it's great to see other options! I saw Parodeejay's version of this day too and the short vs tall in the water cracked me up. I'm 4'11" so I feel the "short" pains!

I don’t miss yo yo church now I go to a non yo yo church that isn’t stand up, sit down, stand up, sit down, etc. i remember not seeing the ship at port canviail!!! My sis was 6 at the time and she said we where entering an hotel and me and my bloke said a floating hotel and she said that fancy type of hotel daddy likes!!! She was right as it was him that got us into cruising!!! I hate rocky beaches!!! I’ve surfed in water shoes cos of corals. 37°C is hot but I’ve been in hotter!!! Air Con is awesome!!! I only eat red cabbage!!!

I would have loved that pool! And 100 degrees outside...I'm used to that anymore, but still, yikes! At least there's a pool.

That looks like a very nice resort. But that beach with those rock, yikes!! Been there done that. Don't like those rocks on the bottom of the ocean floor. But the beach looks beautiful 🥰🏖🍸🍹🍻
Have been on 12 cruises on multiple lines and Carnival in my opinion is the best! Fun and not stuffy!!

August in Cozumel: usually hot, humid, rainy . But, beach, ocean, pool and bar are very fun too 🤪

Alisa is your sun hat foldable? I would love a hat like that that I'm ab,e to fold and put in suitcase w/o having to buy a big floppy hat. Also that last minute excursion was a really good deal!!
How would you compare this to Mr. Sancho's? This looks like it would be better
Actually we give it to Mr. Sancho’s. We feel that the pools are better because they have a swim up bar at Mr, Sancho’s and Occidental does not, not to mention the beaches and table setup on the beaches is MUCHO better at Mr. Sancho’s. .
Nice to see a Cozumel beach without seaweed. We've only gone to San Francisco beach and Nachi Cocom. Every time the water is just filled with nasty seaweed.

Well, for me anyway!
Cozumel is my least favorite port but if I ever go again, I will go to this resort. It looks incredible. I had 2 laugh out loud moments on this video. 1. Jason singing those lyrics in the pool 2. Jason who could not put down the peanuts while trying to comment on them
Yeah its kinda our least favorite too just because we’ve been there so many times.

First time I have ever seen ParaDeeJay and when I went to their video that they made on the Mardi gras they anounced that Dee has covid. Hopefully she has an easy time of it as she has had her shots. Also hopefully you guys did not catch it from her.
We filmed this before she got sick. She is doing fine now and we tested negative and feeling completely fine! Thank you!

I thought you went to Occidental Cozumel, Occidental Allegro on the map is a different resort? That said, looks great and I really hope to make it to Cozumel one day when the powers that be in the UK finally allow travel to Mexico again. As always, great video, folks.

I really do love your videos. Even though I'm in the UK, your videos cheer me up and give fantastic insight which is very helpful to planning future holidays.
