I can't tell you which was my fav Metallica song back then as I only started to listen to the band in 1992 🤣 (maybe it would have been Fade to Black I guess)

By the way Ride the Lightning is still my fav album as a whole album. One of the best metal albums ever released.
So I love FTB too, of course.
Surpisely on the second place is not MOP (as a whole album!), but the Justice, renastered, with the original /correct bass lines by Jason.
I like Jason VERY MUCH, very good musician, very good song writer, singer, player.. And a fucking good man.
It was a big shame, what they have done with him, and to tell the truth, we - the "old" 'Tallica fans - have all the same opinion about it. Ok, maybe not all, but 99%..
Not in vein, that years later Lars and James apologized him, and they called him to join in several live events.
What would it be, if they played a whole show, with a double bass?
At least Metallica could have play with a "double bass" again, that Lars can not since ever!! 😂🤣👍
